Great for those guys, very much deserved.

It may seem greedy what i am about to say but Azpilicueta should have been in team of the season ahead of Shaw and Terry should no doubt be ahead of Kompany. These 2 have been Chelsea's best players this season. I can't help but feel that Shaw got in ahead of Azpilicueta because 1, he is English and 2, his age. And Terry was left out because people don't like him............this isn't a popularity contest, leave your personal opinions to one side.

Azpilicueta must be the most underrated player in the league. Not up for player of the season and can't even get into the team of the season.

Congrats to Cahill,Cech and Eden, all three of them deserve it really.

Tho i would of liked to see Terry instead of Kompany,Ramsey/Silva instead of Lallana/Gerrard and Azpilicueta instead of Shaw.

Bloody hell, Lawrensen even said Terry should be in there instead of Kompany.  Am I in a parallel universe?

If you are, I'm in that bizarre world as well...

well done to all the Chelsea lads on the list...I know we're biased but JT absence is a joke...and I genuinely think azpi has played better than shaw, although shaw is more of a threat on the counter, helped by fact he is left footed and playing on his natural flank

Ignore the donkey on the right.

On a negative note the last time a Chelsea player won player of the year was JT in 04/05, the main outrage for me was Drogba missing out in 09/10

Due to the unrelentless speed of football commercialisation, only an attacking player would be able to win these awards. In that sense, fully deserved from Saurez and Eden.

Honestly should be done at the end. If Liverpool don't win the league, a lot would surely have fallen on Saurez' inability to score against the other top 4 teams.

Individual awards are becoming too much of a popularity contest and as a result are a bit farcical.

Talking of awards. Is Cech still in the lead for the Golden Gloves award and if he is, who is his closest rival?

Mark Schwarzer off the top of my head

Congratulations to Eden on his deserved award but our players are more concerned with team awards such as the CL and PL rather than an individual award.

Im assuming theres going to be an open top bus parade around Liverpool tomorrow for Saint Luis?

It is a popularity contest to an extent, but Suarez winning it shows that there is a degree of objectivity still. His name was booed at the dinner last year and yet they voted him this season despite him being an absolute c**t.

I don't think playing on the wrong flank has done Azpilicueta many favours; it seems very counterintuitive to choose a right back for left back of the season. Plus he hasn't been as great going forward on the left as he was on the right last year. Definitely deserves an honourable mention, and I'm sure once we finally put him back to RB, he'll get the recognition he deserves (though in fairness, Coleman has had an absolutely insane season).

Terry ahead of Kompany is a no-brainer for me, though I think Koscielny should be in that team too. Kompany has been at his best at times this season, but far too inconsistent. I would have JT-Koscielny in my team of the season with Cahill narrowly missing out, but those 3 have definitely been my top 3 CBs this season.

Gerrard just about gets in because Ramsey has only played half a season - the kid has just been incredible, very impressed with him.

Hard to argue with the rest - there are certainly better forwards in the league than Sturridge but none have shown it over an extended period so he deserves a place (similar to Gerrard I suppose)

Still can't believe Terry isn't in there, Kompany.. oh my, can't get over it. Honestly how can a player who has made so many f**king mistakes as he has this season deserve any recognition at all, truthfully he should have been slated this season. But no I guess Demichelas got that instead.

Don't think Lallana deserve that either, another overrated british player for me. He has trickery but besides that I'm not overly impressed.

I think that's fairly accurate to be honest; quite often I think the PFA team is quite wide of the mark but I think most of those players should be in the team or thereabouts. Terry is the most obvious omission (as he has clearly been better than Kompany this season) but I'm glad to see Cech in there, I think he is often unfairly left out of this kind of thing and of course Cahill who deserves recognition for his remarkable improvement into a top class defender. I would probably have included Silva somewhere, I also think Ramsey and Aguero would have made the team fairly comfortably had it not been for their injuries.

Also there are no Man Utd or Arsenal players - I wonder when the last time that happened was.

Not sure about Arsenal players, but I think I heard it being mentioned somewhere that the last time there were no ManU players in the team was in 1990.
