Hart- error strewn first half of the season, gave Torres a winner on a plate

 

You would never know our defence had let in 10 fewer than anyone else...

That team of the season is even more of a piss take when you take into consideration they spent most of the show lamenting there aren't enough English players in the league and who they'd take to the world cup.

 

The media in the UK is embarrassingly trite.

In fairness to Robbie Savage in that programme he picked Terry, Cahill and Azpi in his team of the season. I can't stand the bloke but at least he was constructive. Garth Crooks is an absolute joke on many levels.

Martin Keown was similar. He had Koscielny and Kompany. I find it laughable that anyone can leave out Chelsea defenders when we had the best defense in the league.

 

At least Robbie Savage was fair. He had Terry, Cahill and Azpilicueta in his team, i don't agree with him picking Sterling over Hazard but it wasn't as bad as Crooks and Keown.

 

Crooks even picked Baines. This has been Baines worst season in a while in my opinion.

Final Score has become a joke. They even had a go at Robbie Savage because he said he didn't think England would get out of the group stage. What is wrong with saying that ?

 

BBC used to be great for Football but lately they are really bugging me. It's going to get worse when the World Cup is on.......................they have Rio Ferdinand as one of their pundits

It's a joke that Cahill, JT and Dave weren't in the team. Shows what Crooks knows about football. And as for the grovelling to Gerrard, it is nauseating. Not convinced he should be in the team. It's all part of the media love in with Liverpool.

The love in on Sky and BBC when Liverpool were on that title run was embarrassing. Martin Tyler badly wanted Liverpool to win the league i realised that when we beat them 2-0 recently and i read other fans forums and they were saying the same thing.

 

I've said it time and time again on here but how does a defender like Kompany who makes so many errors get so much praise? Better season than players like Cahill and Koscielny? hahaha. Joe Hart? i wouldn't of even had him in my top 10 GK this season.  Under Carlo in our double season when we scored 103 goals i think we never got this much praise for scoring loads of goals and playing nice football. I hate the media.

There were more sky sports stories building up to the Liverpool v Chelsea game (saying it was Liverpool's league) than there is now about man city actually winning it. Absolute joke.

All in all, it's been a great day (seeing as we were out of it). Surprising lack of Liverpool pundits on TV, and great to hear Hansen just say Liverpool's season was a failure.

Haha martin keown is an even bigger joke than crooks. Said that jose is no longer the special and just the ordinary one because he dared to go one season without a trophy! What made it even stranger was in a couple of sentences later he was praising wenger!

Everything Keown was saying yesterday was a load of crap. I'm shocked that a an ex player can be so stupid about football...................well we still have Jamie Redknapp so i shouldn't be surprised by anything these ex footballers say these days.

The other day on BBC it was Jason Roberts and Kevin Kilbane, god it was bad. Actually painful to listen too and they offer nothing insightful. The only pundit i seem to like is Gary Neville.
