PSG Charged Over Abusing Disabled Fans

Eton Blue at the Chelsea Megastore

There is an article in the latest CFCUK by one of the Chelsea fans who was a victim of abuse (verbal and physical) from the PSG fans. Complaints were made to stewards but nothing was done. A Chelsea fan was in a wheelchair which had a Chelsea flag attached to it. Was asked to remove the flag as it could incite trouble.

If it was an English club that did it all English clubs would be banned from Europe for a year.

lets not start this again. If Galatasary etc are allowed to play in Europe when their fans stab opposition fans then im sure we'd be kept in for abusing disabled people, although it is disgusting

Were they not abusing them due to being Chelsea fans not because they were disabled.

..and when they spat at them, they just didn't notice that they were in wheelchairs???   :face_palm:

Well yeah, but why single out the most vulnerable segment of the Chelsea support? Shows how tough they really are, i'm, guessing not many Parisians were spitting or throwing bottles at people in the 2nd leg when they'd get a good kicking for it.

A partial stadium ban aint enough for this type of thing. A huge fine will discourage this behaviour.

Its the first time that this has been brought to the governing bodies, so an example has to be made.

Just seems misleading if they were purple or green and wearing Chelsea shirts does it mean they were abused due to their skin color or because they were Chelsea fans. There actually is a difference one is a hatecrime and is treated different.

They may have been abused due to be Chelsea fans but the fact that they were Chelsea fans in the disabled seating section of the ground is frankly shameful behaviour.

Disgusting - I'd like to think PSG would do something for the people involved and all expenses paid weekend in Paris wouldn't seem out of the question

I would think Paris is the last place they would wish to return to, Disney World sounds better.

There was an article about this on the BBC news at 6pm today. One of our disabled fans and her husband - also a Chelsea fan - were interviewed. Both were, understandably, very upset. The article mentioned that UEFA and PSG have declined to comment on the incident. Let's hope that UEFA doesn't let PSG get away with it.

They were throwing coins at us in the East Lower.
