There fans aren't exactly a tolerant bunch and they will turn against the team and Rodgers pretty soon if they haven't already. I can't wait till we play them at the Bridge the piss taking of Gerrard will be something to behold.

I'd say it started before the slip. I reckon it was when he miscontrolled the ball. But the media seem to gloss over that for some reason.

On the subject of last nights game. Terrible performance from Liverpool who looked 2nd best against a decidedly lacking team.

 

Unfortunately our keeper didn't look too hot. Terrible for the Liverpool goal and the game having that many penalties taken is usually down to bad keeping. Too many times he guessed the correct direction and didn't get to the ball.

For me, I don't understand this move. I know him and Big Sam aren't the best of friends but whenever I have seen him play he has been the best player on the park for West Ham and I remember him completely destroying Tottenham at the Lane a couple years ago. I know he has had some legal/personal issues but I think his situation has been totally mismanaged by Sam and the whole West Ham set up.
