It will be excellent if City don't win tomorrow, I would forgive United for last week if they get a win or even a draw. 

Imagine if this lot were the current defending champions right now? What a disgrace that would be hahaha

Brendan Rodgers liverpool on our way to putting every f**ker fast asleep!!....skrtel...to lovren...to skrtel....to lovren...to gerrard...to lovren...to skrtel...to henderson...to skrtel...to mignolet....to lovren...to mignolet...to gerrard...to mignolet...and so on and so on.....yep we have 60%+ possession...so f**king what! talk about fast starts yet sets his team up to do that every single game this season, 2 strikers from now on and hit some balls down the channels early for players to work with.

We have done this in almost every away game so far, its setting a lazy half arsed tone which we are not getting out of.

No movement, no creativity, no urgency, no chances.

That was shambolic.

Johnson is a clown, Allen was atrocious, Henderson was a sh*t bag again and did nothing, balotelli offered nothing, Sterling looks short on confidence, Moreno looks nervy and poor on the ball for some reason.

Thought Skrtel & Lovren did ok, Gerrard tried to force it but at least tried, Coutinho had nothing to hit.

Il get shot down for this but Rodgers has looked lost tactically since Mourinho schooled him....

yes were missing Daniel, yes we lost Luis, make the most of what we have and let the team be more creative...Borini needs to start.

it's not just the Suarez factor though is it? they played half of last season without him and I know their win stats were actually better when he wasn't in the team. they seem to have completely lost their way. last season they were all about quick accurate passing from the back to the front, lots of pressure from midfield, counter attacking with a rapier like speed and a killer instinct. that seems to have gone out the window this year, now it's a long diagonal ball from Gerard to Sterling out on the right wing and that's about it.

 

Pardew said before today's game that he knew exactly how Liverpool would play and I don't think they produced any surprises.

 

Brendan appears to have been a one-season wonder who was blessed by a consistency of performance that they can't produce now.

 

Not only that he has had a disastrous transfer window - rather they steal the very best from Southampton it looks like he bought all their dead wood - Lovren? Lambert? Lallana? - they've offered nothing and Balotelli - what a ridiculous buy

 

Momentum is so big in sport and they are so inconsistent and yet so predictable that I will be absolutely gutted if we don't come away from Anfield with all 3 points.

^ I don't disagree with you Carrickblue. Both Pardew and Allardyce have made the point in recent weeks that the set up of some teams is predictable and inflexible.

Liverpool's form is terrible for a team that came very close last season to winning the title. I agree about Brendan's buys - he can't seem to get the best from them. No idea either why Sterling's on the wing.

I do think that Suarez was a huge loss. He wasn't a one man team but he was such a threat in front of goal, and latterly so good at setting up goals, that Liverpool this season with him would be a different proposition.

My answer is honestly that I don't know. We have been poor in defence this season and, at the other end, not taking all of the chances we create.

However, if we're bad at present (and we are with only one win in the last seven league games. Seven!) Villa are much worse.

Kane should start tomorrow. If we lose to Villa, then I think it's officially panic stations for us.

We should not lose though.

haven't seen enough of Spurs to form any opinion but I'll watch the game tomorrow - hope you get a decent result
