November 2, 201411 yr I hope the teams who kicked our arses last season (CFC were one of them) are overcome by guilt. We are a historic team!!
November 2, 201411 yr Frank Lampard, Peter Schmeichel, Patrick Viera, Robbie Fowler, We have a history of this sort of transfer. It does seem a deliberate point by your club to buy other teams 'legends', as if to prove a point or something...you don't need Gerrard ffs...franks still got it, not sure he has
November 2, 201411 yr It does seem a deliberate point by your club to buy other teams 'legends', as if to prove a point or something...you don't need Gerrard ffs...franks still got it, not sure he has That's a good point. It would be a vanity purchase. City are in theory strong enough now. Gerrard will go overseas if anywhere.
November 2, 201411 yr Last post for the day lads as I'm on my way to the pub, The worst result for us today is a draw, It does nothing for us, It doesn't stop the rot, It doesn't give us confidence, It doesn't wake us up and give us a kick up the back side, I either want us to win 2/3-0 comfortably with a good, solid performance or I want us to get embarrassed so Pellegrini gets put under severe pressure to change the formation from his archaic 4-4-2 formation and we go on and beat CSKA in the next game and eventually progress through to the knock out stages of the CL. How I think the game will go? I personally don't see both sides scoring, I think it will be a tight game in which whoever scores first can go on and win the game 2-0, Both teams will come defensively prepared for different reasons, Us because of how bad we have defended the past few games and them because they need to keep it tight just like last week, Funnily enough I'm not nervous for a change, At the end of the game barring a draw there will be positives for us take whether it be positive in the long run if we lose or positives off an important win to keep the pressure on Chelsea. I gotta disagree, it would depend what kind of draw, were you to be the ones to make a comeback or score a late equaliser then Zi think it would be mentally avoid result for you aswell.
November 2, 201411 yr Given the gap in the table, a draw for either club is not good enough, only a win will do
November 2, 201411 yr Author Well, I'll be stuck at a children's party, great Tempted to record it, but you just know one of the other dads will tell me the score.
November 2, 201411 yr Unfortunately City just always seem to turn up for the derby. Kompany always plays a blinder and they're all really up for it, I think City will win but it'll be closer this time. 2-1
November 2, 201411 yr I can't stop laughing at Liverpool. They're going from bad to worse and I'm loving it considering the way they thought they'd maintain their good form from last season. Like 2002-2003 and 2009-2010, they've demonstrated that they're one-season wonders at best. God I hope we beat them next week! Arsenal were impressive with Sanchez dominating again but it was only Burnley at the end of the day. Another great win by Southampton to stay in the top 4. I actually hope they maintain their form somehow. Dortmund in the relegation zone in Germany is worrying but I think they'll find some form sooner rather than later. Klopp is definitely feeling the pressure though. I expect Man City to win comfortably against United. They've had the wood over them for the past few years.
November 2, 201411 yr Drogba wants a draw too http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2014/11/1/7143579/didier-drogba-manchester-derby

November 2, 201411 yr Author On a slightly related note, isn't nice having City as our title rivals? I don't have anything against them at all, imagine if it were Liverpool, Arsenal or Spurs going for the title? My heart couldn't take it.
