Fair comment and in that context I would agree.

Balotelli wasn't making comment about Somali's or Ghanians though was he. (Putting the Jew comment aside for one moment) he as a black man, made a comment about black men.

I quote from the Oxford English Dictionary:

Racism: Prejudice, discrimination, or antogism directed against someone of a different race...

Therefore for a "black man" to make a comment about a "black man" cannot be racist. Had he made comment about Somalis, it would be a different matter.

If someone takes offense to a comment regarding there race, it is racist. Doesn't matter who said it.

My dad is from the carribean and he takes offence at use of the n word in rap music. He is pretty thick skinned, he's had to be since he came to England in the 60's and married a white woman. He's heard it all over the years.

I don't think what balotelli said was meant to racist, but as long as someone somewhere takes offence to it, on the grounds it is derogatory to their race, then it is deemed racist.

It is a pc gone mad world, but I'd rather it be like this now, then what was 30-40 years ago.

What it has to do with it, is to point out that there's some terrible, terrible, things happen in this world, terrible things.  And people worrying about a bloody cartoon with a joke couple of lines (by a black man with a Jewish mother, I might add) should give themselves a good slap and stop worrying about such utter trivia.

I'd be more insulted if someone said my lawn needed a mow.

Some of us have the brain capacity to worry about more than one thing at once.

From what i've seen of Origi, he looks good at holding up the ball, good strength and is pacey, but i'm not sure he's as good as the likes of lukaku. I mean he's got to do better than balotelli surely.

He's talking about a team who have won a lot with far inferior teams, with lesser managers. I think he needs to concentrate on progressing in the CL and not almost bottling the title like he did last year with a far superior team to anyone else.

Thats the worst attempt at mind games since loz tried to convince his son when ice cream vans played a tune it meant they had no ice cream left.

Christ...you mean that's not true? I've fallen for that for the past 42 years...

It's strange but I seriously couldn't care less, I'm easily provoked but Pelligrini just doesn't bother me at all. If Fergie said that I would be furious but since it's the walking corpse I couldn't give a toss, he looks like he will be dead before the season finishes.

Had me laughing  :laugh2:

Come on Palace, do us a favour.

Look at those empty seats at the Etihad. It's laughable that they want to increase their capacity. The atmosphere is about 10x worse than ours as it is.
