What do Lovren and the Titanic have in common?

Both shouldn't have left Southampton.

Lol that's excellent!

BTW does anybody know that row of Liverpoo jokes posted here a few years ago? It consisted of a number of jokes along the line of "why does the River Mersey run through Liverpoool? Because if it walked, it would be mugged".

I have seen so many people say Lloris is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League and i just don't see it. He is a fantastic shot stopper but most of the Premier League goalkeepers are. He isn't very good in the air at all, he is more often than not flapping the ball away or get's out muscled in the air.

He isn't anywhere near the level of Cech, Courtois and De Gea, they are all better than Lloris.

just reflecting on the Liverpool situation. seems to me teams tend to have a personality built on a few key people. for example Chelsea look like winners reflecting the personas of Jose, JT, Costa;

United used to look like that with Ferguson, Keane etc..

City's personality tends to be led by Kompany, Toure and Aguero, this year Southampton look like Koeman cool and calm, hardworking and competent.

Everton, they look like a team - typical Martinez, good spirit, a bit of fight in them and they do look like they've a plan (apart from when we turn up)

and Liverpool? well last year their persona was created by the partnership of Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling. This year they've morphed to look like Brendan Rodgers; superficial, light weight with no real depth,

they've no leaders on the pitch, even Gerrard offered nothing today. I think we can all see that Gerrard is punctured but without him there's no link to who Liverpool FC used to be and it's not at all clear where they can find a new persona. No leaders, no fight, no character.

He kicked out a little bit and Vertonghen made a meal out of it

It wasn't even a kick really, it was more like a movement of the leg towards Vertonghen, the ref bought Vertonghen's play acting.

I don't get referees, they let Mirallas and Tomkins off yesterday for pushing each other, they let Wilshere off for putting his head into Fellaini, but then send off someone for tapping someone with their boot. There is no consistency from them.

that Lamela guy is crap

Not as crap as Soldado though.

We got out of gaol there. We made hard work of actually scoring against ten men and our ratio of goal scoring chances to goals is low. The width we used in the second half was positive and I'd play Lennon in every PL game. Thank God for Eriksen.

spudz are a lucky bunch...Since I have been a CFC fan I don't remember spudz ever finishing above le arse. Remember when I started following CFC, it was explained to me that spudz were playing at 3 point lane :Troll_Face:

Everyone apart from Chelsea looks mediocre. Liverpool cannot even work over a bottom team, United clash against Arsenal, nothing to write home about, Citeh were lucky & the rest are jokers. By December Chelsea will lead these pretenders by 12 - 15 points.
