December 5, 201411 yr Everyone seen this Nations League thats gonna start in 2018 http://m.skysports.com/article/sports//9592438 Tell you these people won't be happy until football is run into the ground.
December 5, 201411 yr Like Jose said, we won't be spending 100's of millions any more but, we can, however, spend up to a 100 million if we needed to. However, i think now we can guarantee stability in terms of management, and i'm almost positive we will start brining the youth through. If you take a look at Spurs, they brought Kane through the ranks and he's now a regular first teamer. It just takes a little bit of trust in the manager and you can bring out the best in these youngsters. Honestly, i would prefer to see youngsters brought through in every team in the top 6, as it would start making things a lot more competitive and fair, as opposed to constantly paying out millions upon millions on talent from around Europe.
December 5, 201411 yr Article on the DM website with all their journo's votes on who has been the best PL signing of 2014. The top 3 after compiling the votes were: 1. Nemanja Matic 2. Cesc Fabregas 3. Diego Costa With Lampard being apparently the 5th best signing of the season which I cannot understand.

Having a 9 point lead at this stage would be huge.
December 5, 201411 yr Has anyone been following this Nigel Pearson stuff ? He told a fan to f**k off and die when that person called him a twat. I wouldn't have told the fan to die but i am more on Nigel Pearson's side than the fan, if he can't take it then don't dish it out.

I wouldn't have told the fan to die but i am more on Nigel Pearson's side than the fan, if he can't take it then don't dish it out. I tend to agree. So many people nowadays are the same - effing and blinding yet go crying when someone responds (though I'm not sure if this fan has?) Reminds me of Jose shushing the Liverpool fans and Frank getting booked for doing the same (who was that against? Spurs? QPR? my mind's gone blank)
December 5, 201411 yr Just reading over Bluemoon, they really f**king hate us over there. Bit odd really.

Reminds me of a incident many years ago when Clough was managing Forest. A Forest fan ran on to the pitch and Clough gave him a whack round the head.
December 5, 201411 yr JMaher, I apologise on their behalf and if it makes you feel any better they hate everyone over there Lol There's so many paranoid City fans on that site hence why I had to come on here, The Chelsea fans on here are a lot more well balanced and fair, Here's how bad that forum is, I feel more comfortable debating our team, Aguero etc with United fans on ragcafe then over there. On Bluemoon, Apparently Platini hates us, Sky Sports love United, Talksport loves Chelsea, The written press love Liverpool and Arsenal and everyone in the world is doing everything in it's power to stop City from becoming the dominant world footballing force we supposedly should become. I gave up on that site when they started referring to the Champions League as the Chumps League and how they won't go to European games as a sign of protest because of FFP etc, It's such a victim mentality, I got rid of that mentality 6 years ago, It's funny they have a mix of arrogant fans and victims on there, We're either the bees knees or there's someone preventing us from being the bees knees.
December 5, 201411 yr You only have to see the amount of hate and anger directed towards people on various opposition forums to see how some fans think. If they said the same sh*te in real life as opposed to online, they would get their cumuppence. On rawk or arsenal forum there's a thread with the title "mourinho, odious c**t" or something alone those lines. Can you imagine some opposition fan shouting that in your face as you walk past them; more than likely you would want to sock the moron. The amount of heinous things oppo fans post online about other players and managers is a disgrace! It's pathetic when you think how seriously they must take this sport to have that kind of mindset towards another human.
December 5, 201411 yr Let me give you the reason why the hate for Chelsea has slightly notched up a few levels over the past few months, There's this feeling among fans on that site that if Chelsea fail to win the league, Mourinho could get sacked and therefore they believe that since the British media absolutely love Mourinho, They would not want that happening at all costs and therefore they believe there was a conspiracy in the ffp sanctions being handed to us which prevented us from strengthening significantly which handed Chelsea an advantage so that the British media darling that is Mourinho wins the title and stays on for another few years.
December 5, 201411 yr If any of them see me writing this on here they will probably think I'm a judas but I couldn't give a sh*t, I support City, I love my team and have for a very long time but because I bet on football and have done so for 15 odd years, I don't have sky blue goggles on as much as some other City fans and therefore can view football from a more neutral perspective. I come onto football forums to debate talking points, transfers and match build up, I don't come on here to get all psychopathic about opposing team fans including United, While I admit I criticize United a fair bit, I still try to keep it fair and clean. Wow that is some conspiracy theory! So the British media have power over FFP? Wow, just wow!
December 5, 201411 yr Haha BeerQueen, 100 % truth, I've also read the usual media doesn't give us enough credit threads and how UEFA has an agenda against us because it's being run by David Gill, An ex United man, That is the reason for us constantly getting tough groups and supposedly having corrupt refereeing displays against us, It just gets too much for me.
December 5, 201411 yr I think it's understandable to think the media loves United and Liverpool - there's enough of that to form a pretty good argument. And I think City and Chelsea don't get enough credit. And certainly there seemed to be a bit of UEFA agenda against us in the past (but perhaps more of a pro-Barca which just happened to affect us as a side-issue) so I can sympathise a bit there. But to combine the two is quite something else!!
December 5, 201411 yr Having said that, My friends are not like that and are a lot more knowledgeable so it's good to know that not all City fans are loony, It's usually fans on forums who seem to slate people and teams, The internet makes people do and say some really stupid stuff doesn't it? Which Is why I thank the lord for you nutters on here, Great folks.
December 5, 201411 yr Slightly off topic, Saw Phil Brown interviewed earlier on ssn and the picture of him they had up, He was wearing a Del Boy hat whilst in the dugout, So that's fake tans, Goaties and now Del Boy hats Lol
December 5, 201411 yr I was being lazy and couldn't remember if it was checked or not - it was (I've googled it now). My hubby's got one similar - me and the kids try to discourage him from wearing it whenever we can.
December 5, 201411 yr Not sure If I know anyone who would say you're not welcome here Kink, It's a Chelsea forum yes but it is nice to have opposition fans. You also got to put up with some of the stuff we say about City which may seem to you as absolute bull sh*t, to be fair some of it probably is. But from what I've seen you don't seem to get caught up with it so I don't see how you would ever have a problem, you seem to fit right in, although your pessimism can be funny sometimes got to admit mate xD!
December 5, 201411 yr Liverpool not out of the UEFA FFP woods just yet. In a statement on Friday, UEFA declared that a list of seven clubs remain under investigation, while another six have been asked to provide additional details of their finances. "The UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) investigatory chamber has finished the first round of club hearings with respect to the analysis of the break-even submissions for all clubs with a financial closing date in June 2014," it read. "As a result of these discussions, the CFCB has decided to continue its investigations into seven clubs (Monaco, Roma, Besiktas, Inter, Krasnodar, Liverpool and Sporting) that had disclosed a break-even deficit on the basis of their financial reporting periods ending in 2012 and 2013. "In addition, the CFCB has requested another six clubs to provide additional information on their break-even position. "These are Sparta Prague, Hull City, Lyon, Panathinaikos, Ruch Chorzow and Wolfsburg"
