Is there a better free kick taker in the league than Eriksen? I can only think of Mata but he doesn't get to take them very often for United.

Sigurdsson, Rooney, Larsson, Gerrard are up there, not many curl it like Mata any more though.

Good to see QPR losing again. They've lost every away game this season apparently. Worst record in 50 years. How amazing would it be if they lost every away game in the whole season.

Andy Carroll has gone off injured again. He's just one of those players.

Gutted for the lad, he worked hard to get back to fitness and was really playing well.

Hopefully he's not out for too long.

Sigurdsson is close, still think Eriksen is better though. Haven't seen Rooney score the variety of free kicks Eriksen has. Sunderland fans I know say Larssons freekicks aren't as good as people make out, from what I've seen I would agree as he misses far more than he makes. Gerrard, alright fair enough.

No chance of Liverpool making top 4, United are going to be in it and Arsenal and Spurs look better.

Walters scoring a hat trick in the Premier League, who would have thought that would ever have happened ?

Already did, kinda, 2 OG and gave a pen to us a couple seasons back.

That Australia vs South Korea game was amazing.

Wouldn't mind having Jedinak here in place of Mikel.

Champions of Asia.

So proud of the Socceroos.

Oscar's got a great freekick on him.

Not often enough though. He hits one decent one every now and again. You want someone who can trouble the keeper just about every time.

Well done, you flaming galah ..strewth. Etc

We're thet the favourites Skippy?

I would have had Japan favourites, with us and Korea the main challengers.

Korea beat us in the group stage , so it was nice to beat them in the final. They also hadn't conceded for 10 games. Cracking goal from Luongo.

Our first major trophy.

I wish we would settle on a set piece taker, too many of our team try their luck for my liking.

It used to be that anything around 25 yards out and Zola took it without fail, that's the sort of situation we should get back to, just designate Fabregas or Oscar or whoever as the taker and then just get on with it.

Nice, congratulations

Korea equalized in the 92nd minute after Australia had led since the first half, which sent it to extra time and Australia showed great character to come back and still win.

From this mornings paper talk

Arsene Wenger has warned Chelsea that Arsenal can still defy the odds by winning the Premier League title - just as his side did in 1998 when they were 13 points behind leaders Manchester United at Christmas.

Silly old sod, they are absolutely nailed on not to win today now.

If Southampton win today, they'll only be 3 points behind City. Does anyone think City might look over their shoulders just a little bit? After all, if they are confident they can overtake us, surely it's logical.

I think it would make things interesting never know Southampton might even fancy their chances at catching us.
