This ref is terrible. My Lord Southhampton is getting jobbed as bad as us yesterday.

As soon as Mignolet exits the box he's an outfield player, the ball bounced onto his hand but he had it in an unnatural position for an outfield player. So if it was a CB in that position would it have been a red?

Yea it clipped his left hand then hit his right. He should have been sent off.

No more bullsh*t excuses from the FA. It is time to introduce another official into the game, one solely dedicated to video replays and who can veto the on-pitch referee's decisions.

 

The standard of refereeing this season has been f**king appalling even by Premier League standards.

What's bothering me is, why can the decisions be in our favour, I understand how sh*te refs are but it's always f**king against us.

Although I agree this season has been bad, fans of all clubs tend to forget decisions in their favour and only remember the ones against. Go onto any forum and you'll find exactly the same thing about the respective club. As I said though, this season has been pretty shocking for us.

Honestly I've took all that into consideration I even think I'm paranoid saying it but just look at the facts, the decisions it's absolutely abysmal I've known nothing like it.

 

We've had 11 legal penalties denied this season in the league, and the fact we've only been awarded 2 all season definitely says something. Especially when we had 2 blatant ones denied in our latest f**king game.

Jose pressed Ben Shepherd for when things had gone in our favour, he couldn't say, but Jose said 'one' then went on to explain when we have lost points and why. Jose was pure class.

Vertonghen was challenging for the ball though, it's a foul and a yellow at most.

That Ben Shephard is an absolute tool, I saw that he couldn't even back himself up, he just kept saying well football is football you get some decisions you don't, and he kept saying it even when Jose was asking him what decisions have we got in our favour. Jose said besides maybe the Liverpool one in the last minute for Gary Cahill which I don't think was a penalty at all since he had his arms down his side, so even that is a maybe.

Yes, agree. I asked on the other thread what experience of football or qualification does Ben Shepper have, it looked as though none. Sky is a joke the way they rake in money and can't get a decent presenter for the national sport.

Remember Friend is a freakin' dirty red scouser lover - he was reffing the match when Brana got bit by Uruguayan Vampire - all he did was laugh when the blues told him about the incident

I wouldn't say he's a tool. I think he was out of his depth with the interview with Jose but when he has his regular less assertive guests he does a good job. He's like Lineker, stays pretty neutral (just not as good).

Haha I see what you mean, but 1 penalty can mean the difference between a point or not, and that point can win you the league.
