Won't work, the club probably can't ban him unless he's broken some sort of law and these petitions are never really taken seriously

Along with booting out those idiots in Paris, it would be nice if the club also made a stand against men who beat women up.

Apparently Rooney has apologised for diving the other night. Is it me, has my old brain missed this, or is it because all football news is focussed on Paris at the moment?

The club can ban whoever they like.  The chances of it actually happening mind are absolute zero.

If the French guy has his way, and I hope does, they'll be locked up so that sees to them, but banning needs to be addressed as I'm sure it's not an easy process.

That Toni Kroos is one hell of a player isn't he, I love watching him play, seems so good on the ball. It's amazing how Real got him so cheap.

I was so envious watchig him yesterday and I am still scratching my head why Bayern didn't value him highly. Especially since Xabi Alonso's age has been showing these past couple games.

If he is breathing that should be enough.

Watching aftermath discussion - amusing.

Not only is Gerrard dreadfully dull, he cannot do a tie properly.

Liverpool score from a pen in the 84th minute.

Well that certainly woke the crowd up, till then the atmosphere was pathetic.

Another great European night at Anfield where for 84 minutes you could only here the visiting fan's and  Stevie Me's cameo in the studio  giving us insight into his future career as a TV pundit - FFs is there going to be no end to the Bitterpool  media love in?

i loved the irony of the home crowd singing "you're not singing anymore" at the Besiktas fans who had been the only people making any atmosphere all night
