The difference between Vertonghen and Matic is that Vertonghen has no excuse, he has no reason to react like this.

 

Also, Matic pushes Barnes in the back, Vertonghen pushes Noble in the neck and shoulder.

I think that was more of a ploy tbh. I think with a cup final place at stake, they will definitely appeal, it would be unfair on matic if they didn't.

Make no mistake, this ref has had the sealed envelope down from headquarters. Want to guess what it says inside?

First one you could say he went down easy, but it's a penalty in my opinion. Second one is clear as day, terrible refereeing.

 

Although it's in line with the standard of refereeing so far this season.

The refs in this country are a joke, that was a clear foul in the area on the Southampton player.

 

It's annoying when the refs fail to see things but the linesman also missing it is just ridiculous.

Second one should have been a pen. 

All the referees are great, it's just Jose moaning, I can't see an issue with the refereeing as of late.
