Broadband internet was invented.

The Euro currency was invented.

We've won the league three times.

We've won the FA Cup six times.

We've won the Champion's League.

We've won the Europa League.

We've won the UEFA Super Cup.

We've done the double five, count em', five times.

Since Liverpool last won a league title i got another brother, i started and finished primary school, i started and finished secondary school, i became an Uncle for the first time, i got a job, i got another job, i became an Unlce for a second time and by the time they don't win it again for another year i will have gained another niece or nephew. So yeah, many great things have happened since Liverpool last won a league title ( and many horrible things which i didn't mention )

Since Liverpool last won...gazza has become England's best player and biggest pisshead of modern times...

I've had three children, one of whom has since graduated from university.  And none of them remember a time when Liverpool were a regular top four side.  In fact they have seen Blackburn win the premier league but not Liverpool!

I skipped the bad things too.

My season tickets gone from being around £60 to £735. 1225% of it's original price.

If my salary had gone up by that I'd be on about £190k a year.

I'm not.

No-one has, there's no such thing as the British Premier League - it's the English Premier League.  Some Welsh teams applied to play in the league which perhaps makes it slightly misleading but it's still English and governed by the English FA.

 

That shouldn't take away from the fact that it's jolly good fun to laugh at the dippers though.
