Arsenal v. Chelsea (PL) 26/04/2015 KO: 16:00 GMT

Featured Replies

This is a must not lose, than a must win.

Hopefully Costa is fit again, he can still easily win the golden boot.

Win this and Leicester, we're champions.

Arsenal have won their last 9, though Wenger has never beaten Mourinho.

While this seems like a tough game consider this. Arsenal's past few games.

Burnley, Liverpool, Newcastle, West Ham, QPR, Everton.

Flat-track bullies right until the end. Now they're up against the master, again.

We're going to f**king twat them. Jose has the Specialist in Failure's number on speed-dial.

0-3

Hate this lot, I have way too many good friends who support them but generally it's very odd how obsessed the entire fanbase is with Chelsea. Their main forums have very popular sections where they can all join together and spew hatred (jealousy) about the club and the manager, coupled with the fact that they highly overrate their players, but I suppose if you know what you're talking about it shouldn't even be a debate that Bosscielny and Mertesacker are the best CB partnership in the league

Think a 1-0 is in order here. As much as I'd love to win this game with a 97th minute header from JT. I don't think I could handle it so an early goal and if we need to sit back and absorb pressure then so be it.

Costa or Remy are absolutely mandatory for this one.  I definitely think we need a little more defensive focus in the midfield with the fact that Assenal have been in godlike form ever since Christmas.  Therefore I'd line them up like this:

GK: Courtois
RB: Ivanovic
CB: Terry ©
CB: Cahill
LB: Azpilicueta
CM: Matic
CM: Mikel
RW: Oscar
CAM: Fabregas
LW: Hazard
ST: Costa / Remy

Bench: Cech, Zouma, Filipe Luis, Ramires, Willian, Cuadrado, Remy / Costa, Drogba

2 (Hazard, Oscar) - 1 (Sanchez)

Don't mind arsenal really -- quite like wenger as well.

Think it'll be a 1-1. Probably no reason attempt to attack and go for a win when we already won vs United so I'd expect us to play it safe for a point. Win would be glorious.

honestly i think we're going to absolutely maul them 3-0 or 4-1.

even though a draw would be fine, jose knows he can win all of these games regardless of how we line up. depending on the kind of mood he's in i'm prepared for a 0-1 win for us or an absolute smashing simply because he knows he can

a proper smashing would be a great way to remind the rest of these chasing clubs that we're the best

I know it's away, but I too feel this will be a win for us with Arsenal not scoring. Man U not scoring, especially Rooney, well I can't tell you how happy that made me.

Arsenal didn't walk all over Reading, Reading no less, and who knows had that goalie not had a momentary lapse.

Our confidence will be high, a glorious end is in sight, it's all good for the BLUES.

anyone see wenger's response to our yesterday? in his post presser the press asked "after chelsea's result against man utd, do you think the league is over?" and he replied "i don't know what happened" and the press said "chelsea won 1-0" and wenger responded with "so usual 1-0" and laughed along with the press.

I always thought we would draw against utd and win at arsenal, but beating utd is just an added bonus. i still believe we will beat arsenal and i'm confident about that. i now just hope we beat them by more than 1 or 2 goals so jose can come back at wenger for his comments on yesterday's win.

So Wenger thinks 1-0 home wins for us are the usual? Must be blanking out last season then......

Fabregas to score a 95th minute winner, throw off his mask, kiss the shirt and jump into the away fans.

With an offside handball.

I'm going with 0-2.

Can see us playing a cautious approach. I do hope either costa or remy is fit for this just to add pace upfront for when we break on the counter. I'm going for a draw think it will be 1-1.

Team Would like to see

Courtois

Ivan-Cahill-Terry,Azbi

Ramires-Matic-Fabregas

Willian-Costa-Hazard

Subs; Cech, Zouma, Luis, Mikel, Oscar, Curdrado, Remy

Need Remy back for this one, but beyond that I'd be happy to see the same team start this one. Zouma was brilliant yesterday (as usual) so there's no reason to drop him.

Just need to not lose this match.
