Deal. If Begovic is willing to sit on our bench then he would be a fantastic choice for 2nd keeper.

Given that Begovic counts as homegrown he would be a brilliant backup GK. In terms of ability he's definitely in the top 5/6 in England. I cant see how he would want to be a backup, unless we let him play in both domestic cups?

 

Other than Begovic I'm not sure who else there is. Rob Green is experienced and of an age where I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted one more decent contract. Obviously based in West London which helps. But in terms of ability I've never been convinced by him.

Apparently the contract terms have been agreed with Begovic. Need and agreement with Stoke on the fees now.

 

Would be really great if this happens. He can be the Cup keepee for domestic comps and the group stage of the CL. Plus we would end up with only 14 non-HG players so will have space to bring 3 more Non-HG players in.

Begovic for Moses and a small fee would be ideal. A pretty useless player off the wage bill and more money to go towards a marquee signing.

You clearly have not seen moses playing for stoke. He is easily worth 10m to a mid table team.

He signed a 5 year extension last summer as third choice behind Courtois and Cech. Doubt he leaves now.

Ospina is on his way out due to not wanting to be second choice, meaning he won't come here to be second choice behind Courtois.

if he can be used in a player swap deal with begovic then there's no way we should be saying no
