Fantastic signing for Bayern. Arturo Vidal is a player that every team need.

Now that's how you cover the loss of Schweinsteiger... Just when I thought there was a message of decline to come in Bayern's power there, a star player choosing to leave the club for another, they go on and sign a younger and an arguably better player.

Just looking at the Bayern squad now. Frightening how much talent there is across the board, especially in all midfield areas. Central defence remains a weakness though IMO and if Lewandowski gets injured there doesn't seem to be a natural replacement up front.

Or Cristiano, it's that time of the year again and if Cristiano is unhappy at a training and doesn't smile for the entire session... that means he wants to come home :P

I do enjoy football but it has to be said that there is nothing more cringey than seeing modern footballers squaring off to each other. Its like watching billy elliot with football boots on.

We've been told that for years but Wenger's always be reluctant to spend.

Obviously he's made one big purchase for the last couple of seasons but he still generally bargain hunts.

(There's an error on that article as well, they don't list Welbeck as one of his biggest signings, he cost them £16m)

Deluded goons.

They might have the money but if United, City, Chelsea or the Spanish two want the player they have no chance.

I don't know what you mean they consistantly win a trophy, granted it's the fourth place trophy, but a trophy is a trophy!

Delph stretchered off 20 mins into a pre-season game, clutching his hamstring.

More to the point, it isn't even half time yet and City are already 3-0 down to Real Madrid.

I was there last night. Great stuff 99k to a friendly aint a bad effort.

nice one skip - few more than what they got down at Etihad last night (26 odd thousand). I was all set up to channel flick between the 2 games but ended up watching the footy for most of it because of the flogging the Hawks had dished out by half time. What an embarrassment of a game for the AFL that was.

And Carlton get 7 Friday night games(and we don't get any). Smart stuff from the AFL.

Who do you support mate?

Unfortunately I'm a Doggies man and am cursed to be forever tortured. Thank god for Chelsea.
