From what I've read it is 5 million rising to 11 depending on appearances... so 5 million then? ;)

Roberts only has a year left on his contract so even 5m is pretty steep.

Hi there "fellows"... I'm yet another one of those United-fans you love so much.

 

Been reading redcafe for many years and have had lots of laughs in the threads "rawk" and "bluemoon". Someone mentioned this forum to be a place where the delusion and bitterness might be a bit lower. I've not checked every thread, but it seems that you actually seem to be a bit more sane so far ;)

 

I've not seen any mentions of other forums so far and I got a bit curious and wanted to know your opinion and rating of delusion of other forums.

This is actually the first time I've registered on another forum. Mostly because I got the feeling that you could have serious discussions with people supporting another team. Trying to reason with the members on rawk would be like trying to persuade a kid out of getting christmas gifts :)

Well I happen to know a couple of more or less retarded United-fans. People dont become great and reasonable just because you happen to support the same team and you wanted that person to actually support another team ;)

Sometimes it's age and you can live with the fact that they hopefully will mature. But sometimes they are 30+ when you would've guessed on 15...

I think there's a fair degree of respect between United and Chelsea - Mourinho clearly respected SAF and you can't deny United's success over the last 20-odd years. Equally most United fans I know don't try to denigrate Chelsea's successes over the last decade. They may not enjoy us winning the league and european trophies but they tend to understand the hard work and quality it takes to be a truly top club.

Personally, I'm always happy to see Utd fans on here, much prefer them generally to the usual suspects, and if anyone identifies with our loathing of dippers, it's them.

Can't speak about other clubs, all I know is, unlike yourselves, City, Arsenal, Liverpool etc, there isn't one big Chelsea forum where all the fans congregate, it's split between 4 or 5, one on the official site, and 3 or 4 others, including this one.

I`m not sure about that....they tend to compare our success with theirs by claiming we bought our success with oil money compared to their money coming from their previous success and commercial income.....or something like that

Yeah, we're known to charge other clubs really good for our players, known to be greedy. Just because PSG can't afford him because of FFP doesn't make us greedy...

BTW, whats your opinion on Pedro? Lots of rumours that we're getting him... I honestly don't know, but I've always seen him as a winger and I can't say that's the position I feel need stregnthening.

We've also been linked with Pedro, I think he'd provide some good competition for the very inconsistent Oscar (Pedro playing on the right wing and Willian moving into #10).

Don't understand why you lot would be in for him unless you're moving on Di Maria though, when you already have Di Maria, Mata, Young, Januzaj and Depay for 2 positions.

I don't watch that much la liga, but is there any possibility of him playing as a striker? If not I'm totally with you on the ADM-moving saga...

But I want ADM to try at least one more season, even at 75% of his ability he would be awesome... 

EDIT: Would make more sense if you were after him, Cuadrado didn't exactly tickle anyones b*lls... or do you feel he's worth one more season?
