Sevilla are a quality side, I would be surprised if liverpool beat em.

Sevilla finished 7th in la liga though this year. Hopefully they up their game tonight. We'll never hear the end of it if they win

They did, but they have a superior head to head record v Villarreal in recent times if that's anything to go by...

Despite 7th I think they're a better team than Villarreal personally... perhaps their league position suggests their priority is the Europa League?

not won away all year , scary stuff, prepare for w**kfest

Think Liverpool will do it, fair play if they do, they don't tend to win anything, so media and fans will be going mental. When we won it not much of a fuss was made, shows the difference between the two clubs, like it or not we've outgrown them, bar this season of coarse.

My feeling about LFC is based on a gut feeling about the mood of the team and the clear recent progress they've made. As the famous football pundit, William Shakespeare, said "There is a tide in the affairs of men that, taken at the flood..." etc, etc.

We may not like it but LFC are getting better. Klopp may make them into a force.

Liverpool have to win tonight and not just for obvious reasons, They lost the Capital One Cup final, and if they were to lose another final, How is Klopp's tenure taking a different pattern to Rodgers? Rodgers was slated for coming up short time and time again and despite the huge difference in charisma and personality, How would Klopp be any different? Two finals, Two defeats and inconsistent in the league, He would be the German Brenda.

I don't see the hype personally, he finished poorly in the league and if they lose tonight what has he achieved?

So far he's no better than Brenda domestically and I for one don't see them as suddenly becoming a force anytime soon

In fairness he hasn't had a big transfer window. We'll see what he does next season

 Depressing isn't it

Yep. Unbearable.

I'm waiting for the first "And welcome to Basle. You'd be forgiven for thinking you were at Anfield as Liverpool fans have brought the special 'Anfield Atmosphere' to..." type comment from TV.

oh Spud....don't

IF I watch it, I'll probably go for a Spanish stream just to avoid all that crap

I've tried the only thing I can do the effect the result. I put the £3.60 left in my Bet365 account on a Liverpool win - trust me, guaranteed Kiss Of Death!

The sacrifice that some will go to in the name of football, hopefully your selflessness will not go unrewarded. Hero
