Newcastle United vs. Chelsea (PL) 26/09/15 KO 17:30 BST

This will be there cup final game of the season. And then they will go back to being sh*t.

On paper we should thrash them. But on the field anything can happen.

I don't think I can bare to watch this one. It's got two-one Newcastle written all over it. And then they'll return to being sh*t and McClaren will be sacked a fortnight later. I'm sure we've been here before.

Despite the sense of impending doom, I do hope we play Remy and not Falcao as apart from Falcao being next to useless, scoring against former clubs is another oddity of football and one that could work for us on Saturday.

In current form, Newcastle doesn't show any danger but against us they always playing good somehow. We can not be complacent for this game, we need to be at our best. COME ON CHELS!!

I'd like to see this XI:

Begovic

Ivanovic

Cahill

Zouma

Azpi

RLC

Matic

Pedro

Oscar

Hazard

Remy

Pretty much this, Idealy would like to see Baba on the pitch and Azpi at right back but can't see it happening. Also can't really see Fabregas being dropped

Also hope for Kennedy and/or Traore on the bench.

We always lose this game but I have a good feeling this will be 'our year'.

Newcastle have pretty much been the worst team in the league so far this season and we are just picking up a bit of momentum.... I am confident we will get the job done and hopefully address our goal difference in the process.

Remy up top, otherwise same as Arsenal at home I would imagine.

I haven't seen the matches, but based on the results, their home matches have been tight. They haven't won any of them, but the ones that they've lost have been by just a one goal margin. Even though they have scored just once at home in the league since the first round (2-2) draw against Southampton, the matches have mainly been pretty low scoring ones. They've won just once in all competitions and that was against a midtable League Two club, so even with our poor start to the season, we certainly should have a good chance of breaking the Newcastle hoodoo, but I don't think it will be an easy match. Probably will be decided by a one goal margin. We've lost two out of three of our away matches and have scored just four goals in the three matches. I know we've been getting better lately and Newcastle have been struggling, but I'd be happy with a 1-0 win.

We've been saying that about Brana since the start of the season.

True but Brana is his 3rd or 2nd choice for captaincy, can't see him being as loyal to Falcao.

Well I certainly hope not anyway.

They're gash, so of course they'll show up in their one match per year and play astounding against us with Cisse scoring wonder goals.

He cant pick Falcao...not after last night.

Curious but what was it about Falcao's performance that was so bad last night? I'm clearly missing something, I was watching on a poor stream but I thought he had a fairly decent game.

Noticing today though that I'm definitely in the minority! The chances didn't quite fall for him but I thought his first touch and hold up play was generally pretty good. The only bad point I saw was his free kick which I just thought he slipped taking?

Its great that we are over our blip now to enjoy a few games, because come November we'll be back in our traditional blip !!!!

Last nights Falcao performance was vintage Torres for Chelsea.

I can't be bothered to go into it since I posted it last night but even a blind man can see he's not even half the player he was 2/3 seasons ago.

Early goal against these will shatter their already diminishing confidence and will boost our ever growing confidence. Going for a 3/4-0 and the Wally with the brolly to be sacked soon after!!

The problem with Falcao is that before he's kicked a ball he is already having a bad game in the eyes of many. So if he doesn't have a game which shows the way he played at Madrid/Porto then he's doomed.

I agree he had a good game, the bad points will always over shadow the good points. Like his slip for example.

As I typed this skysports made an article on his free kick last night, which goes to show what I mean. He slipped while 3 - 1 up taking a free kick in a league cup 4th round game and it makes news. It just shows how laughable and pathetic it is.

I honestly think this is the time to break our hoodoo against the barcodes.

Falcao will probably start and I'm willing to bet he'll even get a goal. Hazard will be the star performer and Oscar should have a good game too.

Time to remind the competition why we're the champions.

What's the odds on McClaren getting the first old heave ho after we beat them?
