Right then we go from the opposition that we love to face, beat most of the time and have a lovely time about it, watching them go in to a weeping meltdown about it as we do so; to the side who we just cannot seem to beat on their own patch.

We can be in amazing form, awful or somewhere in-between and yet we can never seem to beat them, and they are mostly hopeless right? Watford just went to St. James and beat them 1-2. So we should go there and make it a simple 3 points right?

Yeah never seems to be that way, they put in a great display, or good enough one if we are turgid and walk away with the spoils normally.

Time to change that, time to show the same fight and desire we did today. Lets be getting about these da*n geodies this time, and lets make sure we come back with much needed back to back league wins.

Couldn't be a better time to face this lot and push them closer through the relegation trapdoor.

Knowing them though. Papiss will probably have a worldy against us.

3 points should be in the bag. Our form is improving. Theirs isn't.

We'll lose because we never beat Newcastle away from home in the league.

I'm hoping my reverse psychology works because I've always been confident about this game in the past but we always let ourselves down.

At least Alan Pardew isn't coaching and it's a late kickoff rather than early kickoff time.

Weird to think that the last 5 newcastle away matches have been early kickoffs. We lost 3, drew 1, and won 1.

I think we'll beat them 3-0 and put in a solid performance.

Yeah his Crystal palace side just did us instead lol. And then they just went and lost to Spurs. Alan Fín Pardew lol.

We are 15th in the league right now with a long way to go to get into the top 3, so we need a result here. Bug**r history. The league has strength in depth this year so climbing over the pack is tough, tough, tough.

We HAVE to fix the wing back problem. Our attack is too one dimensional otherwise, although slightly better away from home where we can sometimes fast break.

Costa, Pedro, hazard, Oscar, fabregas should be scoring but they aren't really and frankly haven't really looked like it that often.

Yes the defence is a problem but that would matter less if we scored a few more.

So I'm for playing baba to start with and if Pedro doesn't stood calibrate his shooting radar then I'd play Remy out wide.

It's about time we win a game at the Barcode's home ground, and I'm confident we will do it this weekend. They are at rock bottom, and they haven't got a manager  like Padrew to fall back on. We are finding our rhythm right now, unlikely the corresponding game last year we were just getting tired and losing form. I think we should play pretty much the same 11, if I have my way Baba should play this game. If you can't play a 20M left back against the worst team in the league, you probably shouldn't have signed him. Although we got a clean sheet, Ivanoic was no where near convincing on the day, it's just happened Sanchez was even worse. Given where we are and past history, we should't be lacking motivation going into this game.

I'll pick a 2-2 draw as Newcastle at home is still a tricky fixture for Chelsea.  All the usual suspects will be in the first team.

Must win!! I hate going up that way, we always seem to find it tough and hopefully there will be a double north east relegation this season  but we need to put back to back wins together. I'm gearing my self up for Joses best ever season!! giving tity a 12 point lead and then having the title wrapped up by April, when they said it was over after 5 games.

So to make this a reality - WIN

We should win this because they are rank but no matter how bad the form is going into these games we always seem to struggle in Geordie land.

Heart says win but head says draw.

We will be fine if Remy carries some form into this game. Costa vs Collcini ( spelling) would turn into a wrestle match, while Remy has more pace and movement to get behind their defence line. Nothing less than 3 points will be satisfactory here

A no better time to play Newcastle and break our hoodoo there. I'm hoping for a good result and who doesn't want to see the North East teams relegated?

Let's go for 2-0.
