Newcastle United vs. Chelsea (PL) 26/09/15 KO 17:30 BST

Pellegrini has lost 2 in a row. I note that in his history he has only stayed at a club for more than 3 years on one occasion, and then it wasnt a 'big' club, Villareal. In the interests of fairness I assume the papers tomorrow will be filled with questions about Pellegrini's ability to successfully manage a top team for an extended period of time?

We're back in this one now

Feeling nervous about this one because we have a big chance to reduce the gap between us and Manchester City but we also tend to play poorly at St James' Park as the last three seasons have demonstrated.

On current form we should win this one as Newcastle are atrocious at the moment but you can never be too certain since they always seem to lift against us but the key difference here as opposed to the last three games is this is a late kick-off as opposed to an early kick-off and Alan Pardew is no longer managing them.

Costa is a significant loss but I think either Remy or Falcao can step up and fill the void adequately. I'm not too bothered by who Jose starts but I'd personally give Remy the nod. I'd love to see Kenedy but I'm predicting it won't happen.

We've won our last three matches in all competitions so hopefully we keep this run going!

Chelsea team today: Begovic; Ivanovic ©, Zouma, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Pedro, Oscar, Hazard; Remy.

Subs: Blackman, Terry, Mikel, Ramires, Willian, Kenedy, Falcao

So Zouma has become a starter it seems.

if it aint broke dont fix it. cant argue with that. i think terry will play against the likes of stoke though, with the more physical approach

If I were RLC I'd try to get a move away. Being unable to get on the bench after his past couple of displays? What a f**king joke.

While I agree with you and would like to see RLC on the bench, at least... Ramires and Mikel did play well last match and we know JM will pick those two ahead of youth in an away PL match every time.

Dissapointing that RLC can't make the bench over either Ramires or Mikel.

I'm happy with the line-up though.

Both where better in mid week. Sends the wrong message to leave them out

You're right, we do know that he will always pick those 2 ahead of youth and that's his problem and that's why youngsters don't make it here. I love Jose but his youth policy absolutely stinks.

Should he be picking the players on form or on there passport. He had to manage the whole squad and rami and Mikel are part of that
