November 13, 201510 yr Sell Fabregas for maybe £30m. I know he had a high assist rate last year but what are his stats on loss of possession. He gives the ball away far too much. Bring back Moses if we can. We are too lightweight in general and get pushed off the ball too much. Buy in Stones at £50m and get Vardy for £25m.

He's one of the very few creative players we have, who is going to create from midfield when he leaves? Mikel, Matic, Ramires? they are all pretty poor in that department. Also Vardy for £25 million is a huge gamble IMO. He's on a good run but it's only been a few months he's never played at a big club and has little to no experience in European football. Moses wouldn't get into the side as Willian is playing the best football of his Chelsea career just now and Kennedy has been bright on the other side when Hazard isn't playing.
November 13, 201510 yr I would buy Ronaldo and Messi and bring back Ferguson from retirement. But not to coach the team, just for counselor with FA. Would try also to make a duo Guardiola and Mourinho. This way we will be strong in the offense and the defense.

Cesc causes so much loss of possession and Hazard and Oscar can be creative. For me Mikel can do a job of propping up the midfield if we have injuries or need to hang onto a lead. Matic just needs to improve. Ramires needs to regain his form which has been missing for some time. He has great legs and in a counter attacking team his pace in the latter part of games can really hurt the opposition. I know Vardy is a gamble but hey £25m isn't so much really I might even go to £30m. It would good to have a little more english backbone in the team and Costa seems lost. I take your point about Willian but I was watching the video of the goals we scored in 2004/05 and the strength we had with players like Lampard and Gudjohnsen was noticeable. We do get pushed off the ball a bit more these days. It may be a lack of confidence but when you come up against teams like Stoke it would be good to have a bit more fight at our disposal. Lets see how we feel about Willian if the free kicks stop going in. His pace and work rate are an asset though. I too like the idea of Kennedy being played a bit more but Jose just doesn't believe in playing the youngsters. He may be right as I can't think of one over the last umpteen years to break through here or after leaving. Sad but true. Traore looks a good prospect. Generally speaking the team is better than the league position suggests. They just need to start performing.
November 13, 201510 yr If it's just about losing possession there is no way Fabregas will be sold. Ramires misses 9 out of 10 passes (I mean the real passes not the ones backwards), and they gave him a four-year-deal. A f***ing four-year-deal. Just where is this club heading? I'd be giving Ramires and Mikel away for free. Play RLC or Musonda instead. Even if they'd struggle at first, at least then we'd be investing into the future. If we'll be floating through the midtable for the rest of the season, I don't care if we're 8th or 12th.
November 15, 201510 yr We're being linked with a youngster who plays for PAOK. Ergys Kace, 20 year old centre mid, is a regular for his side. Funnily enough the article I'm reading actually says 'Chelsea plan on buying him and then loaning him out to Vitesse' Doubt it's a genuine rumour but interesting to say the least. Edit: Just a vid I found of him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1O7TMrkh18I Edited November 15, 201510 yr by Erik

November 16, 201510 yr Some very good prospects there, but I don't see this as a list designed to completely turn around our season, as none of these players are already first class, Lacazette is probably the closest to that on this list, I'm also not sure any of these would get straight into our first team, definitely all have a lot of potential though.
November 16, 201510 yr Oh god John Stones again. Thats only going to end with them rejecting us again. Getting a bit desperate
November 16, 201510 yr Agree with what big blue said earlier that our poor summer is the reason Jose still has a job. We could have quite a long shopping list and an expensive January. The list should include more energy in midfield. As that has been where we have been most vulnerable. Shame someone like Nainggolan signed for Roma only in July. I'm also thinking we could do with more energy on the attacking midfield line to lead a higher press. That should be at the expense of Oscar who needs a move for his career and who is no longer adding enough value for us. Beyond that we need another goal scorer. If we can move Falcao in January we should. I'd be surprised if Higuian or Lacazette moved but we should be thinking about it.
November 17, 201510 yr Would anyone rather we just pay the 45 million for Stones and be done with it?
November 17, 201510 yr Would anyone rather we just pay the 45 million for Stones and be done with it? Yup
November 17, 201510 yr Would anyone rather we just pay the 45 million for Stones and be done with it? I doubt everton will sell, knowing we will most probably be back again in the summer offering the same amount. I have no problem with us overpaying for good players every now and then. As long as we can afford it.
November 17, 201510 yr I was really impressed with carrasco for belgium last week. Never seen him play before but he has great feet and is exciting to watch. Obviously not a target for us, as he only just signed for atletico, but definitely one to watch, especially if greizmann leaves in the summer, I think he will really step up.
November 17, 201510 yr We should trade them Djilobodji and Ivanovic + £10million for Stones. Would be one of our best transfers if we can pull that off. Realistically speaking, it's impossible. No top side in their right mind would sign Djilobauer right now. Edited November 17, 201510 yr by Zinc

Why won't a top club want to sign him? He hasn't gotten enough minutes to pass judgement on his potential. PS: He's 78 on fifa 16. He couldn't be that awful :)

Anyway, my point is that Everton'd be crazy to do this deal especially with Djilobodji as part of it (their brightest prospect going the other way too).

Never say never, anything can happen in football.

November 18, 201510 yr He isnt worth 50 million, or 40 million, but its supply and demand and we are getting desperate.
November 18, 201510 yr Reports saying that we are looking at Berainho for around £20m. Young, proven goal scorer. I wouldn't be against it for £20m as long as Jose is prepared to play him. I don't have much faith that Jose will play him.
