I just can't believe this the team that won the f**king league and cup double last year. What has gone so wrong? Even missing on our targets and the losses this team is no where near a relegation level squad. Ffs some of these high paid players need to grow a pair and man the f**k up!!!!

Start the movement in January, clean the dressing room from the Fabregas' type and bring mentally strong players who want to play and sacrifice for this team. Try to bring back the true personalities that carried this club, Lampard, Drogba and Cech should have never left our system.

Anyone else just deflated and not angry anymore?

My main concern is jose not knowing his mistakes. In every game we have played we have had no width from our full backs. Azpil is a right footed left back and just goes inside every time. No ability to beat his man down the flank. Not his fault its the managers fault. Ivanovic made up for it last season by being a constant threat down the right so we could play through there.

Hazards confidence has been drained completely and its sad to see. If he had baba overlapping and helping him his confidence would come flooding back. Last year his confidence was so high that he could do it by himself.

For me this is our biggest problem. Its far to congested and our flair players are getting no space. If baba can't get a run of games whilst ivan is out what is the point in him being here? Have some faith in the lad jose

The focus on our failings is compounding this, but the club could do more. Right how, we're a laughing stock, and everyone loves it. Our failures are creating energy for others. That is a horrible situation to be in. The only thing a struggling team has to do is to play Chelsea, and suddenly they're on a run! The whole damocles sword situation with Mourinho is making matters worse. If you were a player in that dressing room, you would be holding your breath and waiting for a manager change.

Unless Abrama, of course, walked in and said: "look, this is what you get no more, no less ... you have this manager and this team, now go turn it around". I love Chelsea, but I hate supporting a club where the whole structure (fans, players etc) clamour for a new manager when you have your back against the wall.

Abrama and the execs are tinkeres, though, and I think JM is gone. I hope I am wrong, but I can't see him surviving this.

A sobering time to be CFC fan for sure, but we will be back!

Salah? Cuadrado?

You are slating Hazard who was the best player in the league last season and Fabregas who was like second in all of Europe for his assists.

Yes, Salah and Cuadrado. Both were disaster buys, who have left us with less options that we had, since they have both been sent on loan. Where did I slate Hazard ? Fabregas was good for first half of last season, because of his assists. We still struggled to control the midfield thoughout that season and Fabregas have been going down a downward form spiral for 10 months now.

Great Post this group now has no spine other than a few players. Clean f**king house

none of us know what has happened behind the scenes

Too true, but I suspect everybody at the club knows what's wrong. For now, doing nothing is probably the best bet. We could sell all the players and sack Jose, but what then?

Happy with tha interview. Don't give those f**king journos anything to write.

Thing is he has given them something to write about by doing it. It's a no win situation.

If you were a fan in the late 70-80s now you may understand what it used to feel like following Chelsea. So personally I can take this and 100% Jose is the man to lead us out of this.

We had a good future with Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Shurrle, KDB, Willian, Lukaku, Bertrand etc, but he managed to chase half of them away and replaced them with the likes of Cuadrado, Salah, Pedro, Baba, Fabregas etc. Whats next? remove Hazard, Oscar and replace them with more players that can only run and not pass the ball ?

To be fair, Oscars only attribute theae days is running about. At least the myth about him just "needing rest" can be put to bed

Anyone else just deflated and not angry anymore?

Yea, my anger has been drained this season, I have none left. I was in the Jose stay camp, now not so much.

I will tell you. The reason we conceded a goal was because no ne closed Coutinho down. That's the main reason and that's the bigger issue.

We know that. But if he had a blown the f...ing whistle when he was supposed to he wouldn't have been in that position to score. I know there are bigger issues out there ...I see it every week... but that didn't exactly f...ing help! If we had gone in at half time still leading things might have been different. It's just frustrating. The worse time to concede is right at the end of the half. Changed the game and gave them belief. Our heads dropped. Ramires was at fault for flying in and selling himself for their first and JT and Cahill were at fault for their second and third. Jose changing the team too quickly with the subs just exposed us.

Absolutely Clayton! Look, Chelsea will be fine and will bounce back. But I fear the club won't stick with JM here.

If we spent what we did in the 70s-80s on players and wages I think most would be fine with it. But we arent so the standards are naturally higher

My anger has really come out today.

I guess I've got the depressed stage to look forward too.

Obviously we will bounce back, I want Jose to stay, if he gets sacked and we dont improve for another 6 months then we will be left with a worse manager. Inevitably this period will come to an end and when it does I want Jose to be the manager. That means we cant run away from problems, it means we face them head on. WE SUPPORT IN VICTORY AND DEFEAT.

I'm struggling to understand what's happened.

Pat Nevin on Radio 5 said (before the game) that CFC were in need of re-building last season and won the league in spite of that. Even if that's true (and it makes sense) it does not - as you say - explain why CFC are where they are in the league.

The commitment of players must be a factor. It's a hard thing to say but I don't think (at any club) the manager can be 100% responsible; he can't play.

Being honest, I'm worried for JM as RA hasn't in the past been patient when managers have run into trouble.

Obviously we will bounce back,

I don't think it's obvious at all. What signs have you seen to suggest we are going to get better?

higher

And I take your totally valid point XF

The team deserves to be criticised, but not condemned for today's performance.

Jose just mentioned that we'll be having a good set of games in the coming weeks, so there's still a chance to make a comeback.

I still believe he is the best man to lead us in these difficult times.

On the way back now, getting real tired of my weekends being ruined by terrible performances. Started bright then we stopped creating chances with any possession ending with a damp squib. One of the worst teams in front of goal against us and they scored goals with ease.

Hate that it's looking like were back to swapping managers but the players aren't this bad and I'm fed up of all the sideline related headlines.

Thanks for the title José.
