Remy, he actually held the ball up, worked hard, looked a threat and scored a goal. Massively under used and underrated player.

Azpi wasn't good, but looked like trying. My pick.

Second week in a row that I refuse to pick anybody. Awful.

Unusually it's not between Azpilicuetta and Willian, that gos someway to explaining the loss, the form lapse has spread.

 

I thought Pedro tried hard and with a bit of finesse could have saved the day, Remy was ok for the time he had to do anything.

Remy but sadly not a good day for him either with this defeat.

Courtois had an average game, he came out to catch the ball and play keeper sweeper at times when it wasn't necessary, but he also saved up by doing so when we were committed to attacking and were opened up.

 

Azpi had an average game in the first time since ages.

 

Everyone else played like they did at the start of the season except Ivan who I'm now sure he's over his blip.

He doesn't get the service though to be fair. Before the second half kicked off he was seen shouting at players and telling them to wake up, he was about the only player out there fired up.

True, all the fire without the results at the moment. I've played as a striker, obviously not a pro, but I still don't know why he got no height whatsoever on his shot, it was such a poor finish.

If Costa can do that every game without fighting with opposing players, even without scoring I will keep. Matic was too bad in that game. Can't understand why some people rate him as a top player. If I were to name 20 top midfielders that have played for us in the last decade, he won't make the list

I would say Courtois, at least he tried......   and as well as him I would nominate Ivan and I think it was Matic...not for any special kind of skill or effort but for at least coming over to us at the end of the game and acknowledging that we existed.....it was a long way to Leicester and 2 days off work just to watch that crap ...  felt like the old days when we used to hope for a draw and dream of a win...    the chant to Leicester summed it up...your nothing special, we loose every week...

I agree on Matic, I'm a fan of Mikel, not world class and can make the odd mistake, but I'd much rather have him over Matic at the moment, when he's on his game at least he looks assured and confident with the ball, whether some call him negative or not, I'd prefer to have his physical presence over Matic.
