Well it is time for a blood transfusion. Our season is over. Today proved that apart from Costa we have no bite! :) even his was a partial kiss; a hicky I think its called. Same old players doing the same old thing. I am going to take a bottle of sleeping pills and hope I don't wake up until September; only on Sundays to watch F1. I really do think next year is going to be exciting for us with all the new faces/blood.

I agree with everything else in your post Brit but not the bit I've bolded. They weren't simple and he took them both superbly. No denying our defenders stood back and allowed him to waltz by them for the first one though. The sooner this season is over the better.

Good luck to the fella.  There can't be a better feeling than being rejected and then sticking it up them.

I think it would be a good idea to qualify for Europa lge and play fringe and u21/ u18 players. The carrot being the longer you're in the cup you get first team games and valuable learning experience. This would leave the first team to concentrate on the league and domestic matters. This would please people that want to see youth get its chance with no pressure on the league programme, then if someone does shine they can be used in the league without us needing loans which have caused division with us supporters.

Fair enough, Lukaku took them well, but defending for both goals was pathetic

I never knew Martin Keowns parents were Irish, no wonder he kept calling Coleman a top Irishman

This is what has made me angry, not losing to a better team but to a bad refereeing. When a ref is biased, it is not a penalty or a send off that makes the difference, but the permission one team has to play dirty while the other is not. That's what's been going on all the game tonight. We weren't good, but Everton had licence to kill by the ref and we didn't, and that made an impact on our play. The BBC, which we all pay, was also too biased, to the point of being disrespectful.

Never thought I'd say this and never thought I'd feel it but I fukin hate one of our players. Diego is a c**t and the sooner he leaves the better.

I've always liked a player that upsets the opposition but Costa is plain nasty. If Suarez behaved as Costa does we'd want him hung drawn and quartered, Costa is every bit as bad as Suarez.

Before anyone says it, this has been my feeling for over a year but today I've completely lost patience.

After some pushing together of foreheads, Costa seemed to open his mouth wide against the side of Barry's neck. He didn't seem to close his mouth to a bite and he broke contact quickly. Barry didn't seem to react to that particular thing but Costa seemed almost to be trying to get sent off. It was hard to fathom.

It's like it clicks in his head at the last second that if he bites him, things could end up going seriously wrong for him and his career would be tarnished. Biting a player should never even enter the thoughts of a player, but at least he snapped out of it before he did something ludicrous.

All you have to do is look at Barry's reaction that got Costa his first yellow.  Acted like a boxer had sucker punched him when the back of Costa's hand barely caught his forehead.

 

If Costa had bit Barry, Gareth would still be rolling on the ground clutching his neck......but I fully expect Costa to get banned simply cause it looked like he was going for it (and I fully think he did and just changed his mind at the last split second) and really what more justification does the FA need to go after Costa or any popular to hate Chelsea player?

What a sh*t season this has been. Absolutely depressing. We are a mess of a club from top to, no, ain't gonna blame folks at the bottom, it starts at the top. Our transfer policy has been ridiculous and to top it off we get a guy on loan in January and don't play him. BIZARRE.

1. After Suarez bit Ivanovic, Ivanovic was in pain and the bite marks were clearly seen. When Costa bit Barry he was hardly in pain.

2. After Suarez bit Ivanovic he ran of. After Costa bit Barry, he cooled down and hugged him.

Surely that was evident when you watched the game ?

Commentators on my stream were praising the strategy of trying to rile up costa while at the same time deriding costa for trying to rile up players.

 

I was reminded why I watch on mute.
