Instead of charging us for failure to control players, they should charge Clattenburg for failure to control the game.

I'm annoyed at this "they got frustrated by Hazard's goal and lost self control" theory. Yes they did, and I'm sure someone with a clean previous record like Kane probably wouldn't have done what he did if they were still winning. 

 

That fails to explain why eye gouging Diego, kicking Pedro, shoving Willian, and Pochettino going onto the field happened in the first half when they looked on course to win. Furthermore, Pochettino didn't take off any player at halftime for their actions. 

 

Make no mistake, not all of it was impulsive frustration. Some of it was premeditated. They were out to hurt us from the beginning. 

 

By the way, is there a video of Lamela stamping on Fabregas? I thought I saw him smirk after he did it, but I would need to see it again. And for the people saying he didn't do it on purpose because he was looking away and couldn't see it, bullsh*t. If you accidentally step on someone's hand, your natural reaction is to immediately say sorry and ask if they're okay. Though I did cringe when Fabregas rolled Neymar style for an assault to his hand.

Lamela clearly stamps on Fabregas hand and, after seeing it again, Walker clearly throws snot / blood towards Costa. Could you imagine if our players did that ? they would have charged them for sure. I've just had a look at the BBC report of these charges. They manage to say that there were "12 yellow cards during the game" - and that there were "two mass brawls" someone managing to overlook the fact that nine of the twelve yellows went to Tottenham players, or that these "mass brawls" were instigated by Clattenberg-endorsed thuggery on the part of Tottenham players, whose second half performance was arguably the dirtiest, nastiest, most petulant display of the entire Premier League era..

 

And never mind all the rest of it, Guus Hiddink being pushed to the floor, Pochettino steaming on to the pitch,the three or four Tottenham players who should have been shown red cards according to the rules of the game. Incompentent or corrupt, you tell me. It truly beggars belief that Tottenham haven't been shown a single red card all season.

 

To hell with this sh*te about Clattenberg wanting to keep all twenty two players on the pitch, to make a "fair contest of it". What he actually achieved was to give Tottenham carte blanche to repeatedly commit red card offences without fear of proper punishment.

 

Clattenberg, the FA and the BBC are every bit as bad as each other.

Spurs lost their discipline, 2 games out of 4 left they had Ali suspended for a snide punch on a WBA player, then 9 yellows v us with at least 3/4 possible reds should have been shown.

 

The last 13 mins they had 4 players booked & not one shot on goal, going for the title yet they preferred to kick & foul our players, they clearly didnt have the know how how to see their challenge through, pretenders.

Lloris didn't get booked neither did Alderweirald. One sub got booked as well.

Shocking decision by the FA. Costa for much less of what Lamela did to Fabregas gets more games suspended. And Jose would gave been sanctioned for just being on the bench. Really shocking, but expected.

And what is the Club going to do? Can't they appeal? Is there an appealing committee to go to? There's enough evidence on the tv images to make a convincing appeal.

Regarding Pochettino, he is the player with most number of red cards at Espanyol, 13 I believe.

Thinking about it, Spurs are the darlings of the England team...fa couldn't possibly punish their own ahead of the euros could they? Walker, Dier and Rose have got away with acting like thugs

I wonder how their kangaroo court actually works, surely their system and the details of everything they do has to be made public or at least disclosed to all PL clubs.

The FA and referees association need to be audited, there's so much room for corruption, a referee can literally just say that he saw Dembele gouge Costa and deem it not worthy of a red and the FA can't (won't) do anything about it.

Pretty sure fining clubs money on a whim is not legal as well, especially when they themselves will decide how much they want and whether the club deserves it or not. Want to appeal the fine? Sure, 'we'll' look at the argument you submit and 'we'll' decide if it stands.
