Anybody want to Hazard a guess as to how many a game ban Dembele is going to get for the eye-gouge? This will really Costa Spurs if it runs over to next season.

A ten game ban would be Fabulous. The consequences could be Dier. I'm so glad we Rose to the challenge against these sh*thouses.

I'm so sorry....

Anything less than 5 and the FA Aina got a Kalou.  :face_palm:

It'll be a 3 game ban for the eye gouge and both teams fined for failing to control players.

But 3 games isn't enough!

Both teams already fined Zeta but no charge yet for Spurs' 9 yellows. I don't think it's inconceivable that they may get points docked next season.

I will be astounded if they get points docked. More likely an extremely heavy fine.

Surely you mean Hazard a Guus.

Likelihood we will be fined more, FA will mention 12 yellows without pointing out it was double to spurs, will then mention previous etc. Media narrative has become 12 yellows and 3 brawls without pointing out who the main perpetrators are.

Spurs fans and ex players, trying to say that the bad atmosphere and bad behaviour from their players, was down to pre match comments....unbelievable Jeff.

I'm upset that we only got a draw and not a win. No, not for the usual reasons fans complain about.

I'm upset because we were robbed of important advantages that could have led to more goal opportunities.

The eye gouging and Pochettino entering the pitch happened at the end of the first half. That means Tottenham should have returned from half time with no coach and 10 players. If Clattenburg had done that and it deterred the players from their later thuggery, that would have been an entire half with the advantage of having one more man on the pitch and a coach on the side lines. If Tottenham's thuggery would have played out the same, we should have ended the game with four more men on the pitch than them.

Either way, we would have likely had more goal opportunities and very possibly won the game.

yeah one spud faithful tried to explain to me that CFC players asked\encouraged their treatment - I pointed to lamela - I am sure Cesc called him a puta & lamela decided to pay him back <_<

If we had been challenging for title or even top 4 I would be pissed but end of the day, it really is all if's & buts, swings & roundabouts. If Spurs had had a player sent off they would have looked to shut up shop so we may have failed to break through. Who knows? I'm really not that pissed about it and am thankful that I saw the best game of football I have seen in a long-time, we ended Spurs faint title hopes and we saw Hazard back to approaching his best.

I'm still pretty pissed off that there has been no mention of what Walker did. I can't believe he has been allowed to get away with that.

I don't understand this either, pretty vile thing to do.

Remember when we were fined after a west ham fan hit Kezman on the head with a coin?

It was the losing of the plot that is really odd.  Even when we equalised there was still plenty of time for Spurs to grab a winner but it was as if every member of the team had decided they weren't going to score so just got angry and reckless.  After the Hazard goal Spurs never had a sniff at goal and it wasn't through any great rear guard action on our part - they just looked like a team that were 3-0 down with 2 minutes to go.

Not one player seemed to keep their head and lead  by example.

Only just flicked through the sky sports coverage from the game. I know Leicester have Won the league but I was disappointed they didn't dissect the second half and talk about how spuds lost the plot and showed no class. We get picked up for ALL Costa's crimes as they call them. With 9 bookings the missed incidents of Walker, Dembele, lamela and Diers tackle on Fabregas that Clattenburg forgot, was a bit surprised that "They lost their heads" covered the second half. No doubt we will get fined for not controlling our players. Out of our bookings I think it was only Ivanovic and Mikel booked for fouls.

"Losing the plot" was only part of it. Kicking Pedro, eye gouging Costa, shoving Willian, and Pochettino entering the pitch all happened in the first half when they were leading. It got worse toward the end undoubtedly, but it wasn't only impulsive frustration.

It was triple! 9 for Spurs, 3 for us.

If Diego had behaved like those animals just imagine the uproar, it will be interesting to see the punishments. Walker flicking snot at Diego, what a repulsive little man, Essien would have loved to have played against him.

Diego doesn't have to behave like those animals to cause an uproar. He was banned for two games due to a supposedly profane gesture after the game while Walker gets away with flicking snot at him.

Is there a video of the profane gesture by the way? I still don't know what they're referring to.

I don't think I've watched a game on Sky with the sound on for about 6 or so years, maybe more. There really should be an option to listen to crowd noises only. Such a shame but when the people commentating are uneducated and make sly digs it gets frustrating. I'd rather just enjoy watching the football.

You can easily do that by muting the broadcast and playing and endless loop of people chanting "you're f**king sh*t" in the background

I wonder how their kangaroo court actually works, surely their system and the details of everything they do has to be made public or at least disclosed to all PL clubs.

The FA and referees association need to be audited, there's so much room for corruption, a referee can literally just say that he saw Dembele gouge Costa and deem it not worthy of a red and the FA can't (won't) do anything about it.

Pretty sure fining clubs money on a whim is not legal as well, especially when they themselves will decide how much they want and whether the club deserves it or not. Want to appeal the fine? Sure, 'we'll' look at the argument you submit and 'we'll' decide if it stands.

That's the problem, there is no transparency. When Tony Pulis asked what they use the fine money for, the FA released a testy statement that didn't answer the question.

Remember when we were fined after a west ham fan hit Kezman on the head with a coin?

Yeah that was a joke, fined because opposition fans acted a twat in our ground.

We most likely will get fined more seeing as we've already been fined twice this season.

Do you believe that's fair?

Trying to remember the source regarding Dembele, I'm sure it's been stated that his act is as bad as Suarez bite on Ivanovic and so the punishment could be similar.

I would personally consider Dembeles eye gouging to be far more dangerous that biting someone in the arm and would expect the punishment to be so  too.

Heard some gooner on talksh*t, saying we got what we deserved, just not sure what that is supposed to be, as our players are fine and we ended their dream, what a plonker, maybe gooners and spuds fans now hate us more than they hate each other.

Eye gouging is much worse, biting will hurt and possibly pass disease on that can be treat. Eye gouging could blind someone, it's f**king disgusting and I hope he gets hammered for it. 15 games.
