Wales probably deserved that. Both sides shouldn't be a problem for England but England tend to make a mess of things so who knows.

Sterling before Vardy? 

Smalling against Bale is a disaster waiting to happen. Bale playing further forward is really bad news for England. Smalling tries too hard to be a sneaky Italian but only ever lets go of the opponents top when he's halfway to the ground. Red card waiting to happen against Bale.

So far; Vardy would cause havoc in this tournament against high defensive lines.

Shrek starting, ooh eck.

Playing Rooney in a position he has never played......shoehorning him in.

I actually think we'll be okay tonight, As long as we have Kane firing i think we score goals, Not really a fan of Vardy as it is, The reason he plays so well for Leicester is because they cater to his strengths, We can't do that, The only gripe would be is Lallana over Wilshere.

Lallana and Sterling somehow both manage to start despite having poor seasons for their clubs.

Rooney in midfield I don't think is too bad, he's a smart enough player to create problems from deep.

Being selfish, I might be one lack lustre England performance away from a Monday morning in work, in Cardiff, that I'd rather miss.

Btw there's a refreshingly positive football phone in on BBC Wales Radio: everyone here is made up just to be in France. Winning a game is another level.
