@DrogbaIsKing you've been listening too much alex jones

back to topic, just learned about the arsenal match, typical lucky pricks, thats twice now burnley got completely robbed by koscielny and the ref

Should be a big ban for Wenger surely, just bang out of order. Yet as usual there's no headIines, no sky sports news repeats etc.

How do people feel the race for top 4 is shaping up?

Defintely looks as if us, Arsenal and Spurs will be getting a spot each. Before this weekend I would have also counted Liverpool but they seem in free fall at the minute. Potentially they could drop out of the top 4 next week if we beat them.

United are points behind 4th which isn't too much but Im starting to question Jose's ability to grind out wins rather than draws which is what it is looking like it will come down for them.

I'm not sure about Tottenham. When the Europa League starts again I can see it detrimentally affecting their chances in the League given how small their squad is.

Footage of the shove is on here:

Haven't watched any SSN bulletins today so no idea if they're giving it any attention/ repeat viewing as per the Costa Crimes garbage, but if he doesn't get a substantial punishment it'll be a typical FA scandal.

If Wenger gets away with that shove I'm gonna lose my sh*t. He is always getting with stuff that other managers don't.

Wouldnt surprise me. Could just arrange a meeting to confirm that Arsenal will be getting another injury time decision which basing on there performances won't be long.

That would not of helped the linesman see that the 2nd goal was offside. However a fourth official watching a monitor pitch side would see it very quickly. Instead of which we get a fourth official with no job description other than to keep the two managers in line.

You are right, the fourth official does f*** all. Wow just seeing a pic of the offside and the linesman is right on the line and in view and he clearly looks offside. To me it looks quite clear but I would be biased. You would think the Arsenal player down the bottom of the pitch would make you look at the line even more.

A good weekend for us all around, apart from Arsenal got lucky with the last second penalty. I only saw it once, thought it was 50-50 as the defender was aiming for the ball instead of the player's head. You could call it dangerous play, but other days people get away with it. They won't be missing Xhaka, he's not that great.

City was unlucky with the penalty calls, but I'd argue with a better player than Sterling they wouldn't have encountered that issue. He was looking for it all the day, instead of charging on goal and put the shot in. I thought the Kun was a huge let down, couldn't get on any of the chances. A couple of seasons ago he would beat defenders by speed and scored a couple of goal, he was impossible to defend against when playing a high defensive line. I think he's suffering the same fate as Torres to an extent, of course he still score plenty of goals on his good days.

Yeah good point I didn't think of that. Man City might still fancy there chances.

Sky Sports are making light of it aswell, unlike if it was someone else.

Match of the day didn't even mention it, unbelievable the way they report things so differently for certain clubs.

The Arsenal game could be a tough one. A trip to Liverpool on the Tuesday before while Arsenal get the normal Home game to Watford. Then it's a early kickoff which never seems to have the same atmosphere to me.

Arsenal could easily go out the FA Cup and Champions League in the next rounds and might end up being the biggest threat.

Not only is Wenger blind to any negative incident for Arsenal, he now thinks we're all blind to them too. He's claiming he didn't push the 4th official and in fact made no contact at all. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11670/10739315/arsene-wenger-adamant-he-did-not-push-fourth-official-anthony-taylor

Now, I'm not one to talk about how the media portray us, but there's no doubt if Jose did that (and most definitely while still here) it would be wall to wall coverage of it and the FA would weigh in with a big fine and ban. For some reason Wenger always gets away with mouthing off about refs, even though he appears to do it more than anyone. At the very least here Wenger should get whatever Pardew got a few years back for pushing an official.

While Arsenal's extra time penalty claim was clearly offside, I thought Burnley's was equally dubious in all honesty.

I think we've asked the Gods for enough this weekend, no?

Thought Arsenal should have a penalty earlier as well. Let's not forget that Hull should have had one today too...

Completely agree, their penalty claim was pretty open-and-shut in my opinion, not sure how we got away with that. The refereeing Gods were smiling on us today!

Exactly. It was an awesome weekend for us regardless and for that we should be thankful. 8 points is a big lead.

Really, I thought Burnley's was a stonewaller, it's a clear penalty.
