Papy D is so sh*t that Sunderland have signed Joleon "it just went off in my pocket" Lescott.

Can you not talk about Chelsea legends like that please.

I'm sorry.

Let's take in his Chelsea career highlights by way of apology.

Is he the only ex Chelsea player who's highlights you can watch in the same time it takes to pour a glass of water?

Don't you just love the codswallop the Premier League and FA give to us about the respect campaign and code of conduct this, Code of conduct that? The Notts County manager gets sacked for verbally abusing officials and Wenger will barely get a ban for assaulting an official, Nothing like preferential treatment but hey we're all about ethics and morals.

A thimble sized glass yeah.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has been interviewed under caution by police following an allegation he racially abused an airline staff member at Heathrow on Monday night.

Swiss Xhaka, 24, is believed to have been with a friend who had visited him in London and was returning home.

The man is understood to have arrived late for his flight back to Germany and was not allowed to board.

It is at this point that the racial abuse is alleged to have occurred.

Arsenal have declined to comment other than to say it is a private matter that is now in the hands of the police.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police told the BBC: "Police were called at 19:29 GMT on Monday, 23 January following an allegation that a member of staff had been racially abused at Heathrow Airport, Terminal Five.

"The allegation was made by a third party. Officers attended and spoke with a man in his 20s. He was not arrested. He voluntarily attended a west London police station where he was interviewed under caution. Enquires continue."

The incident occurred just over 24 hours after Xhaka was sent off during his team's 2-1 victory over Burnley in the Premier League.

LOL. And Wenger is also suspended.

Didn't we make a tiny profit on Papy ( whether it's $1 or $1M doesn't matter)? Whoever made that deal deserve a round of applause, although it's probably the same person who signed him by mistake in the first place. There's a reason some teams are fighting relegation every season - terrible recruitment

Why is it that all of Sunderland's centre backs are either in their late fifties, unreliable West African lads, or being played in midfield?

Or United rejects...

So Brighton have moved to the top of the Championship last night.

I had a quick look at the table and didn't realise that Newcastle have lost 7 times this season. Given the supposed ability of their tubby manager it tickles me to see him struggle to win a one horse race.

The fat c**t.

Hull have agreed to sell Snodgrass to Burnley for £10m.

That's Livermore and Snodgrass gone within a week, it's almost as if the club aren't even trying to stay up at this point.

Looks like the player probably wanted to move and they didn't have a choice.

There's always a choice.

Tell him they're not selling him because they need him for their relegation fight but they'll be open to offers at the end of the season.

Selling off two of your better players within a week, half way through the season, is like waving a white flag.

They were two of Hulls better players but that said, neither are that great. I expect the new coach has plans and by getting the money now he has enough time to make some crucial signings before deadline day. He does seem a decent coach but I still hope they go down as they're a sh*t club and don't really belong in the PL.

Wouldn't he get a much better price for a club in the PL instead of the championship?

As PloKoon said he's just asset stripping at the moment. I get your point though, maybe he just weighs it up as they may go down anyway and isnt Snodgrass a free agent in the Summer?

Depends on how much training ground footage there is of Bogarde.
