I bet they've given him a light punishment cause he's not been charged for however long. But if he'd gotten the charges he should have had but got away with then I he'd have had a harsher punishment.

This is the problem with corporate seating. Chances are those empty seats had been paid for but whichever company or whoever just didn't fancy going to a cold, windy midweek game.

An uncle of mine did the tour of the Emirates Stadium and they said the 10% of executive seats made as much money per per match day as the other 90% of stadium seats. That's why clubs building new grounds, ourselves included, are increasing the hospitality seating so much.

But the expense of this is definitely a loss of atmosphere. Coupled with the cost of regular seats which has driven away younger supporters who just can't afford it and suddenly yes, it is day trippers going who are there to take in the atmosphere/experience but don't really contribute to it.

Trouble is, it's so far gone now that I think this is what we have to live with as top level English fans.

In a few year's time clubs will be paying "singing" fans to come and create the atmosphere that the tourists want to experience. Football as theatre. It's inevitable.

Surprised there wasn't more reaction here to the Wenger penalty.  Imagine if Jose Mourinho had done what Wenger did. He'd have got a multiple match stadium ban. Seems like Arsenal have the FA in their pocket. A touchline ban is nothing. Without doubt this is a clear example of there being one rule for one and different rules for others.

Mourinho was given a stadium ban for speaking aggressively to the referee in the relative privacy of the tunnel/ referees room. Wenger man handled a match official in public. It's a disgrace.

can do with out liverpool losing this, what are the odds of them losing 4 on the trot at home????

but this isn't Liverpool, it's Liverpool's B team - if they do lose today, the famous atmosphere on Tuesday won't be as heady as it might have been and that's a good thing.

Haha, you just gotta love RAWK! Some guy thinks Sturridge has been invisible (he's on the bench) and one guy thinks they are playing against Hull. Not sure if either one of them is being serious...
