And now Sutton have asked him to quit the club.

I never thought i would see such a reaction to man eating a pie on the bench.

Maybe the bookies shouldn't take bets on such ridiculous things in the future.

He was an idiot, but the real tossers were the sun, again, and their Sun bets arm of their loathsome company...they got all the publicity and he ends up paying the price...bunch of pricks

Glad the fat twat got sacked. Made it all about himself when the actual players who gave it their all barely got a mention.

I'm sure it was just in jest tbf - that said doesn't mean he should get away with it, the Gambling Commission/FA should have zero tolerance. Same with advertising etc

He's damned either way, eat the pie and he's party to a scam. Don't eat the pie and he'd be accused of being in coherts with the bookie. I blame in play betting, open to corruption whilst encourages punters to chase losses.

I blame the pie.

Thing is if he doesn't eat the pie he looks a hell of a lot less guilty than eating it.

If he wasn't in on it (and with hindsight) before the game he and the club make a statement saying they don't condone such things, say he won't do such a stupid thing and then not do it. At the end, everyone involved is incredibly silly and it's all a really dumb publicity stunt.

don't feel too sorry for him - apparently Shaw went into the Bar at halftime
