True! :-).  Looking back, it feels as if it's never been in doubt!

Don't know about that I was worried about spurs catching us after our defeat at old Trafford if I'm honest.

Its actually incredible how one player in Sakho made palace so good defensively. They have been like a sieve without him

Fair point but we've had to rely on CFC making mistakes; the issue wasn't entirely in our hands. We just had to keep up but, of course, fell away last evening.

Big f**k up last night from ye but that's life you either  sink or swim.  Personally I think moving into  Wembley  has come at a bad time for ye because you'll have to adjust if spurs played at the lane over the next couple  of seasons you might have won a tittle.  Moving into Wembley is going to be a difficult I feel and I hate the thought of us moving into Wembley  when the bridge is being redeveloped but that's just the way it is.

I agree. This may, in hindsight, prove to have been our best chance of doing something.  The Wembley move worries me a lot to be honest, just based on our form.  What timescale are you looking at for the Bridge being redeveloped?

Looking at 4 years away from the bridge which worries  me.

i do agree with him though, it's a shame the midfield isn't controlled more here. i am not a fan of hoofing it up top, but if it's effective why change it i guess. the problem occurs when english teams play against the technical teams in europe.

Forgot Spurs were playing last night. I stumbled home last night, steaming drunk from the pub, to be greeted with the sight of my Spud-supporting flat mate viciously pounding his fist on the kitchen counter and necking a Corona.

I asked him what was up and he said "well we lost didn't we! To f**king West Ham 1-0!"

I laughed myself stupid before he started ranting. He thinks it's all over (it is now) .

A lovely surprise, I tell ya!

Anyone seen Harry Arter's challenge on Joe Allen ? How the fudge is he still on the pitch after that ? He is so close to snapping Joe Allen's leg in half. So many of these bad tackles have happened this season and so many of them have gone without a red card.

I don't want to sound too elitist here but the past two weekend's 3pm kick offs would not look out of place if they had been selected for a round of Championship fixtures, Pure guff.

I hate it when they don't have any top teams playing on a Saturday at 3pm, it's just boring. Get rid of these Friday and Monday night games and put them on a Saturday at 3pm, like they used to do. Having Premier League games on a Friday and Monday has never felt right.

Thats the archaic rule of not being allowed to televise 3pm games live in the U.K. dictating that.

Don't think we'd be seeing a Champions League quarter-finalist in the Championship tbh
