I'll drive the cnut to the airport.

Then stop half way, wave an imaginary red card in that c**tlike way he does and boot him out.

So can't anyone explain the Wilshere w**kfest from the media? He didn't exactly dominate our midfield yet you'd believe he did. Is it me or do the media just want him to be that good so they make sh*t up? It's like when they'd give Gerrard star man for England even when he did f**k all

Do I have to stop before booting him out?..

It's a media thing, Wilshere was the great English hope as a kid but it hasn't worked out for him, mainly because of injuries at arsenal. Good to see him getting a run of games and I think he's playing quite well this season. Funnily enough he's what I think Arsenal are missing at the minute, maybe harden up that soft centre of theirs. The better he plays on loan at Bournemouth the happier I'll be. When he goes back it will be back to sh*t again and more often than not spending his time in the treatment room.

Really looking forwards to Soton v Spuds game tonight.

Hopefully it's a thriller.

Vertonghen, Wanyama and Walker all sitting on 4 yellows.

Got a nice bottle of Shiraz, coated peanuts and large packet of Biltong in for this one.

If any of those get booked tonight they miss the Watford game on New Year's Day.

Edit: Because the Watford game is on New Year's Day (and therefore after the cut off date of Dec 31st) those players can get booked in that one without missing the Chelsea match.

You are so right, lets hope they stay safe till the Watford game, then balls it up:wink:

I'd prefer to beat a full strength team but then again, I love the woulda/coulda/shoulda meltdowns and blame mentality on rival forums; the entertainment value is pure comedy gold.

Watford is on New Year's Day, after the cut off date of Dec 31st, so they can have as many bookings as they want in that one, whereas Matic and Luiz have to be on their best behaviour against Stoke, because we play the day before. Doesn't really seem fair but that's how it is. On the plus side we have more rest than Spurs before our game against them. We played Monday, then again Saturday, then Spurs on Wednesday, whereas they play Wednesday (today), Sunday and then Wednesday against us.

Is it really a cut-off date rather than a cut-off number of fixtures? How absurdly arbitrary.

Then again, with the incompetents who run the game, who can honestly be surprised?

I thought they changed the rules so its only a yellow for denying a goal scoring opportunity, unless its dangerous play?
