Why don't teams just target Liverpools left? Milner is not exactly a left back, but no team seems to bother putting him under pressure.

I think Liverpool have controlled it without having the ball.

I see what you mean and they're probably going to get the win but they haven't been exactly electric. Not really impressed. Think we should do pretty good against them the next time we face them.

Nothing special from Liverpool, but City were very very poor. Every knows how they play, but Guardiola still set his side up to play right into their hands. Tactical genius, my arse.

As expected. We cannot pull away from Liverpool can we? Well hard game next for us at Spurs. I expect Liverpool will have closed the gap to 3 by the time we kick off that one.

Considering how early Liverpool scored it's amazing that City at no point in that game had a sustained period of pressure on Liverpool.

They made it far too easy for Liverpool to manage that game. Pep in the first half of the season with a poor record against top six sides.

Chelsea vs Liverpool is going to be the game of the season.

Shame it's an Anfield though

We are going to have to weather sustained pressure for the first 30 minutes. Hold them off and I think we should be fine. We look like a much better team at the moment.

it's looking increasingly like a 2 horse race - City will be 10 points adrfit and could be overtaken by Arsenal and Spurs tomorrow. Welcome to the Premier League, Pep.

I can't see any way that a team with Bravo in goal and Stones at centre back will be able to catch up 10 points ... agree this is probably a 2-horse race now, and you'd think that sooner or later all that gegen pressing will catch up with Liverpool a bit ... and they are certainly going to miss Mane when he goes to ACoN ...

looks like we dodged a  bullet there with Pep picking City over us. I was gutted when we missed out on him and had to "settle" for Conte but boy did we strike the lottery.

Ive never liked him and always questioned how good he actually is. I was glad we didn't get him. He has no plan b whatsoever.
