Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017

Sunderland won't manage anything - probably go down about 4-0.

if you take a look at the games left for everyone home and away, it's hard to see United making much progress - I think they will struggle to get in the top 4 unless someone ahead of them has a serious wobble. Just now, ourselves, Liverpool and Arsenal look nailed on top 4 - Spurs away form might trip them up.

Think it is pretty nailed on our game at Spurs will bring out next 'failure to control our players' charge devildog. Spurs will make sure to be in our faces for that. They need us to be deducted points, they are 10 behind and a win would still leave them 7 to make up.

Far as today's games go I think, quite optimistically, that sunderland have every chance... Of conceding no more than 5 goals today. West ham have every chance also.... Of throwing the game away late on United get another late winner.

Seriously our rivals just won't go away, you have to credit their level of consistency.

Yeah Sunderland are probably going to get thrashed.

Would like for West Ham to once and for all throw United out of the title race though. If they are at their best they can manage something. Carroll and Payet can cause problems for anyone on their day.
If we lose to Tottenham and United win they are "just" 10 points behind and would be on quite a streak themselves in that case so wouldn't put it past them to maybe be right in the mix come march if they keep winning. Our next month is ridicilously tough.

Hoping for some miracle that Sunderland don't just rule over.

west ham have more of a chance to get a point. But united are in form so again can't see anything but a united win

I would not rule United out of it yet either. Given our next 5 games include away trips to Spurs, the Champs and Liverpool as well as a home game with arsenal we could be on for dropping some points on any of those games. If United keep winning they could pull right back in to it.

but their manager is a busted flush whom the game has moved on from. He will find a fight to get into that will tank the teams morale and sink their form

I've been told that, at least.

I'm watching Everton Southampton, because the second I switch on Liverpool or City, they will score.

Oh great, so now I only have to even THINK about watching it and they score immediately.
