Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017

One of the worst refereeing decision I've seen all season, not even a foul never mind a card. Genuinely can't stand where the game is going regarding tackling, ball was there to be won, both went for it, Jones got there first, play on.

Pathetic stuff and both players went in with the same force so no reason that Jones should be rolling around and Feghouli shouldn't.

Mike Dean is a fecking idiot. And Phil Jones for faking to get a player sent off for absolutely nothing. Almost so he deserves to get properly hurt later in this game for that.

Can you please sum up what he said?

It was more a case of what he didn't say. Pretty embarrassing behaviour if you ask me, very childish, very Mourinho.

I was only saying the other day that Mike Dean was a useless ref. Him and Clattenburg are headline refs, they get far too much attention. These are the things you don't want from referees. You want them to go unnoticed. Dean and Clattenburg can't help themselves though.

I looked at the replay on Youtube and gets more and more shocking every time you see it. It's never a red card.

Here's the exchange between Pep Guardiola and the BBC's Damian Johnson after Manchester City's win today. It's awkward stuff.

Damian Johnson: "What was your view of the red card for Fernandinho?"

Pep Guardiola: "You are the journalist. Not me."

DJ: "You're the manager. I'm sure the fans would like to know."

PG: "Ask the referee - not me."

DJ: "Are you concerned that's his third red card this season. Is there a discipline problem with him?"

PG: "We will accept. Like I said before, the team with more ball possession we have always sending off. I have to understand the rules here in England. I know you are specialist but I have to understand it."

DJ: "So the interpretation is perhaps different in England?"

PG: "Of course yes. Around the world our keeper in the box is fouled, not here. I have to understand that. Claudio Bravo is fouled."

DJ: "It's his fault?"

PG: "He is fouled. Here not - that's OK but I have to understand that."

DJ: "You don't seem that happy that you've won."

PG: "More than you would believe. More than you would believe I am happy."

DJ: "You're not showing it."

PG: "I'm so happy believe me. I'm so happy. Happy new year."

DJ: "Are Manchester City in the title race?"

PG: "Yesterday no. Why today are we in the title race?"

DJ: "Thanks Pep."

PG: "My pleasure."

I can't believe how many people are criticising the ref for that sending off.

He went in with 2 feet. He left the ground. Even if he won the ball (which I don't think he did, from memory), it's still a red card. Has been for years now.

It doesn't matter if you think it's harsh/was more of a yellow/wasn't intentional or malicious... leaving the floor completely to lunge into a tackle is seen as losing control and the guidelines have said that's a red for long enough now that fans (and especially players) shouldn't still be surprised when somebody gets sent off for it.

I'm sure he was singing the same tune with Rojos' tackles too.

What the hell is he talking about ? The team with more possession always has a sending off ? What a load of sh*te. We understand that in his Barcelona days his lot would get away with everything, but he shouldn't expect that over here. What a dick.

Mike looks like Jasper Carrott and is just about as good as Carrott as referring watching that performance...diabolical.

He went in with 1 foot and was barely above the ground.........if anything, Phil Jones tackle is the tackle that is more likely to cause injury.

That United fan is seeing what he wants to see, he's talking sh*te.
