Bah, for some reason my Fantasy Football account has ignored my orders to make Aguero captain.

City look like they'll be great to watch this season. Which is not surprising given their coach I suppose

Well, that first half was bloody boring so i'm not so sure about that.

So pep's tactic is to bore us all to death...tuned into city game for a bit but had to switch off as they passed it about with seemingly no attempt to actually get to sunderland's goal....zzzzz

City aren't passing the ball anywhere near quick enough for this be Pep's tactic, early signs look promising though.

First 15 minutes were good by City, fun to watch David Silva's role. But Sunderland still didn't give up, hope for a good second half.

God that was tedious, looks like we're gonna have a season of watching city pass for the sake of it, all fart and no pooh. Boring.

City fans aren't exactly the loudest but even by their low standards, they sounded pretty underwhelmed...

I thought it was decent to watch, and they'll only get better as the players become more fluent within Guardiola's system.

 

The use of the full-backs was interesting, positioned quite aggressively but also drifting infield the further they got up the pitch. I also think the Fernandinho-Silva-De Bruyne midfield has a lot of potential. It also seems pretty clear that Guardiola isn't happy with his centre-back options (other than Stones and presumably Kompany) if he's playing Kolarov there, which I don't think we've seen before.

It did that with my vice captain. I had Hazard as my vice captain and then it changed to Hart.
