Rapid Vienna VS Chelsea (Pre-Season) 16/07/2016 KO 17:00 BST

Granted we've looked pretty crap but as others have said its our first pre season game with a lot of our 3rd or even 4th string players, against a team who start their season next week.

I'm not going to start slating players over their performances here.

If we're still playing terribly and getting beat in a few weeks time, then it'll be time to start worrying!

It's a concept so simple you can reduce it to a syllogism.

a) To be match fit you have to play matches

b) Chelsea have not played any matches.

c) Chelsea are not match fit.

It's like every player being injured for 2 months and then playing their first game just after returning to training.

We've looked better in the second half.

Agreed, we're pressing a lot better and playing a lot more proactively.

Bringing on Oscar and Chalobah has surely only helped with that. I can certainly imagine the latter thriving in a Conte midfield.
