It's amazing what defending from the midfield can do fr your back 4..teh team playing like we did today with Happy back and a new LB would be a handful for anyone. 

Very good performance. Very dominant. Good passing, looked dangerous, good movement. 3 goals and a cleansheet.

Every player put in a good performance. Well done, Iva and Oscar, Pedro, too.

Happy to see the third goal with the three subs all involved.

Only one tiny blotch was Costa not getting on then score sheet.

I like to point out Matic was just as effective as Kante i think a few of us are overlooking his performance because of last season he's not back to his beast mode but Conte believes in him and am glad he's getting the confidence to get back his old form

Brilliant everyone played their part no passengers as there have been in previous games moved the ball very quickly and were just far too much for them, good win chuffed with that perfomance.

I think Matic and Ivanovic deserves praise for today as well. 

 

Ivanovic was good defensively, helped to keep the clean sheet, was first towards the ball and didn't allow to pass him. 

 

Matic locked up the central together with Kante, didn't allow to run by him and did very well defensively.

 

Hopefully we will have them with that form for the most of the games!

3 nil normally is a satisfying result but we could have easily doubled that on another day but ah well, a convincing win is all that matter.. However,  I still think batshuayi and cesc should be in the starting XI.. Conte is still not playing our best XI which annoys me..

 

On players's review, Pedro provided a good assist for moses but I don't know why he didn't do it for batshuayi.. Costa was total rubbish in the game, even his finishing let him down and all of us for that matter but at least he's free of controversy for once... Kante was once again superb, everyone else were pretty good overall...

Although I attended the match, after reading the expert opinions from page 5 on our starting line up I decided to face away from the pitch with my fingers in my ears for the full 90.

Whilst I know for sure we played sh*t, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if we got at least a point?

Ivan is terrible against pacy wingers and Burnley offered no offensive threat today. He wasn't usual Ivan today but he did nothing spectacular either.

Lets not knock him, he put in one hell of a shift today, deserves nothing but utter praise.

He seems like the type of player that if you aren't constantly pushing him to improve his performances drop like last season.

IDK if I am off but I thought Oscar was fantastic today. He showed a lot of energy and was key to a lot of ball recovery with his defensive presence while contributing to the ofense with good passing and good work on the link-ups. The last goal sequence was started by him with a lovely pass to Michy right before getting trucked. I think he might at the very least turned Cesc into a part-timer.
