We were far from brilliant in that first half, but we have the lead and that is what matters the most. I hope we kick on a bit in the second half though.

Like I stated will be a tough match another goal wins it i feel now they will now take more risk which should give more space to Hazard and Costa

Should be at least two goals up with the chances we have created. I expect us to consolidate our one goal lead in the 2nd half.

We did well to go in at halftime in front.

Super glad we're playing Boro, a better team would've scored against us early in the match

wasn't so sharp 1st half but improving as time advancing...   I think pedro should have passed to costa, it's an empty goal for costa, should be more team oriented..

We've looked really lethargic today, that goal was huge as this match could've easily turned scrappy. Not over yet, but Boro should have to open up considerably to create anything now.

I'm gonna jump in on the Alonso criticism too, he's so off the pace. A very decent left foot on him when given time/space, but he makes too many poor decisions, clearly panics under a bit of pressure, and he's not got the pace to keep up with Premier League wingers. A stop gap in an understaffed position, but we really should be looking for a better option there.

I think they have to wear the other kits X amount of times a year as per the deals with the makers.

thank f**k we got the goal before half time. i was worried we'd go in at the whistle still at 0-0. hopefully conte has now given the lads motivation to go back out 2nd half and kill the game off now. 

It was a good first half, we were the better team but Middlesbrough played defensively which put more difficulties to our football. I can see us scoring more, we were close to it.
