It was Arturo Vidal's birthday yesterday. Arturo's manager (who also happens to be Alexis' manager) has been invited to the celebrations. He'd also be there to listen to Bayern's offer (65m).

So this dream looks dead. Time to move on, I guess we'll have to settle for Insigne or Bernardeschi.

Someone posted earlier in the forum that he is also Vidal's agent and was in Munich for Vidals birthday so could easily be fake news

Which is why I said the Arsenal board would much rather line their pockets with 60 million from us now than nothing in a year's time. I agree it probably won't happen, however

The board wont override Wenger

I heard today that Alexis would be asking for Lewandoski-level salary, that is 400k a month. I guess the transfer to Bayern isn't happening folks.

Lewandoski is actually on 10 million euros per year though. That's not much in today's market, is it?

Who does everyone think could afford Sanchez and he fits into their team outside of Europe? 

Bayern and PSG are the obvious ones to me. PSG do have Draxler and Di Maria though. What about Juventus or Athletico?

Barca and Real won't be interested.

Surely if Chelsea are interested they have a chance, will have to pay more than those teams outside of England but his worth it IMO.

I just think Sanchez would be mad to stay are Arsenal unless he sees a significant change in player recruitment or Wenger being sacked.

True, which is why I don't see the move happening here. I'd say he's pushing to have to be transferred to Chelsea.

Anything between £250k-£300k. Nothing more than £300k. Considering he currently earns £140k and Arsenal are offering him £270k, I think it's a fair offer. It's right around what players of his quality earn these days.

We really need to get a hold of Sanchez and bring him to a team of winners.

Hopefully, after we crush them this afternoon his head will turn and he will put a transfer request in.

I'd be extremely disapointed if we let that happen.
