Alexis Sanchez

Featured Replies

He's probably the best player available on the market this year. We'd be silly if we weren't trying to bring him in.

If he does move I'd imagine it'll be to Bayern. But I'd turn us into CL contenders overnight if he were to move here.

Bayern are believed to be willing to pay around £40 million and also satisfy Sanchez’s wage-demands, even though Arsenal’s offer is understood to have now reached £280,000-a-week.

Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested in Sanchez but, although the player likes living in London and may be willing simply to run down his contract, Arsenal will not want to risk losing their best player for nothing next season to a direct rival.

And given the fact he enjoys living in London... it should honestly be quite easy to pry him away from Arsenal even if Arsene isn't willing to let him go

Lol if the rumours are true then Arsenal really are spineless. Are they Man City's feeder club?

I hope the board puts a bid in for Sanchez given that he likes to stay in London. Pep's stacking City's attack like no tomorrow.

Sane, Jesus, Sterling, Aguero, B. Silva, D. Silva, KdB and Sanchez is overkill. They're going to play 2-4-4? WM?

If the rumours and tabloids are to be believed, he's virtually a done deal to Man City. You can't deny that City have been ruthless in the market so far and have to be admired for the way they've gone about their business.

I'd be very disappointed if we didn't at least try and go in for Sanchez. His wage demands are unreal, though, and City would be one of the few clubs willing to pay it. I think Sanchez would be one of the exceptions I'd make in terms of paying him more.

Sanchez, Hazard and Pedro is absolutely world class, backed up by Willian.

The rumours are rubbish. He's not going to City.

Would be an incredible signing for anyone, he's by far the best player at arsenal, doubt they would sell him to us though, think we should break the bank to bring him in

He won't go to Citeh...he'll be given a choice of signing a new contract at Arsenal for best part of £300k a week or going abroad...probably Bayern...if he sees out his contract then he's missing European football for the season...Arsenal won't sell to another EPL club this year...

Boy, what an assist for Vidal. Would have loved to see them both playing for Chelsea. Guess I'll have to make do with watching them playing for Chile and Bayern. [emoji849]

This is another reason why i want him here so much, he is great at chipping the ball into the area like that. He's been doing it a lot this season and his aim is getting better and better.

I can't believe that Arsenal was the one who got him years ago when signing him would have made our attack formidable. Him, Diego and Fab at the time would have cost 100m and would surely crush any competition. Instead we persisted with Oscar and bought Cuadrado in the January transfer window :face_palm:

It's a baffling decision even then because Alexis seems like an ideal Mourinho winger/10

Oscar was probably the worst of a great bunch.

Cost us the likes of mata/kdb. Like you said, sanchez. Honestly never rated the guy even a bit.

For me JM used Oscar like a work horse, the amount of running closing down the opposition he did seemed formidable.

Very occasionally he delivered an outstanding free kick.

Re Sanchez I bet him and JM have 'crossed swords' in the past.

He wanted a lead role. That's why he left Barcelona because he will not get it with Messi still there.

Really? Wasn't it because Barca signed Neymar and Suarez?
