February 4, 20179 yr Going to be a tough match, every team wants to prove themselves against the leader. I really hope we won't fall here. I'd like to see this starting lineup: ---------------------------- Courtois ------------------------- ----- Azpilicueta ----- David Luiz ------- Cahill --------- Moses ---------- Kante ------- Fabregas ------ Marcos Alonso ---------------- Pedro -------------------- Hazard -------------- ----------------------- Diego Costa ---------------------- I also would like to see Batshuayi gets a chance, I just want Conte to give him 20 minutes. COME ON CHELS!!!!!
February 4, 20179 yr Spurs keep the race alive. I am wondering whether them or city are our biggest threat. Well I mean we are our own biggest threat. If we do our job then we have no real concerns but if we fall which of those two would take advantage? Far as this game goes it will be a really tough test. Burnley will care nothing for our status or our run of form. They are a hard nut to crack at their own stadium. If we can win though Spurs play Liverpool at anfield... So another huge opportunity.

February 5, 20179 yr Think I read somewhere that they are unbeaten at home this season. 6 wins 7 draws. Very impressive. So then can we be the first to go there and beat them? Reckon this will be a really good contest.

They have picked up only a single point on the road this season but they are the third best team at home.

February 5, 20179 yr Think this will be a draw personally. Burnley are excellent at home, totally different team.
February 5, 20179 yr Seriously they don't look a threat to me. It's certainly a win for us. We have better players so we should be winning this sort of matches.

I think people are slightly over rating them somewhat. I think they'll be stubborn, but with our form and momentum I'll be disappointed not to win this one. I think the Dippers will raise their game as usual for the visit of a top side and I fancy Spurs to drop points in that one Saturday tea time. Another potentially huge weekend....aren't they all though now.

February 5, 20179 yr A tricky game this one and the crystal ball reckons we'll be in for it. Here are its predictions: Chelsea (4-3-3): Courtois: Davey (c), Azpilicueta, Luiz, Alonso; Cahill, Willian, Hazard; Pedro, Batshuayi, Moses Subs: Eduardo, Aina, Aké, N. Chalobah, Musonda, Solanke, Ugbo Prediction: Burnley 1-0 Chelsea So, Alex Davey features for the first time, Conte giving him the armband, as he has done with many youngsters in crystal ball land this season. The gaffer switches to a 4-3-3 formation but keeps his back three in the team, moving Cahill into a bizarre midfield role, alongside Willian and Hazard. A bench made up of youth products and Eduardo would be encouraging for the fans...but the score is not. Yes, Burnley is a tough place to go...at least it has been this season...but we can do it. Come on, lads. Keep marching on!
February 5, 20179 yr I find the contrast between Burnley's home and away performances fascinating. They must receive a great deal of fan support at Turf Moor. Either that or Dyche simply sets them up more effectively at home. It seems that the sides who have beaten them at Turf Moor have all been relatively attacking sides (City, Arsenal and even Swansea). I also reckon that given the disparity between the sides on paper, Burnley will be relatively defensive and so Cesc should probably start in place of Matic. Pedro should therefore start as well.

February 5, 20179 yr The new city wonder kid is firing them back in to the title race. They may well be our greatest remaining threat so we need to make sure to maintain what we are doing and not lose focus, as conte has said.

Arsenal got a last minute winner which was a handball and was 0-1. They have not lost at home by more than a single goal. How is that overrating them? They are a good team, especially at home. It is a game I expect to win, but this is not a team and a place we should underestimate.
