To win this league you need fighters on the pitch, Matic is a nightmare to get past, Cesc is'nt, simple as that.

Are you still whining about this? f**king hell. He came on and helped the team win just like everyone today. Just enjoy the victory will you.

Big win that.

We absolutely deserved to win, we dominated the game....but it was looking hairy for a while.

Fabregas was by and large great (a few times he lost the ball in dangerous ways). He could have had a hat-trick on another day.

Cesc wins you games but do not dream of a clean sheet

Chelsea was really good going forward which you get with Fab plays. The goal conceded was nothing to do with him and just awful defending.

Think that's a bit unfair, not really his fault that an awful set piece was conceded

it is repeat of 2014/2015 run...win the league by 33 assists from cesc & less clean sheets

Most of that match was torture to watch. Dropping points again would have put some pressure on us. For most of the game we looked toothless and our passing in the final third was terrible. But we kept going and got the win. Kante was brilliant again throughout as was Fabregas at times, Costa poor but like all great strikers, he got a goal. If Pedro can keep on getting goals at vital points like has been doing, he will be contender for player of the season.

My slight concern going forward is that we are leaking more goals than we were before. The clean sheets are drying up. We could do with a couple to take the pressure off the attack.

Got there eventually. Thought it was going to be one of those days where we dominate and drop points. Kante and Fabregas both very good in the middle. We'd be amazing if either Alonso or Moses could actually pick out a teammate with a cross.

We were pretty comfortable in defence bar a last minute drop in concentration. I think I'll be worried if our defence keeps giving away chances which so far they haven't.

Easy win like predicted.. Kante was amazing, hazard, cesc and pedro were all having a good game..

1 thing I don't understand is that someone making out of this game as if we're vulnerable with cesc in the side while there was virtually nothing to suggest that in the game..

Not his fault. We would have kept a clean sheet comfortably if it wasn't for us losing concentration at the end of the half.

If we missed Matic today then i didn't see it. Swansea gave us very little to worry about throughout. Not once did they look like scoring or breaking through our midfield to go one on one with our defenders. Kante and Fabregas played really well together today.

This week's crystal ball is here. The predictions are:

Chelsea (4-1-4-1): Begovi?; Azpilicueta, Cahill (c), Luiz, Pedro; Fábregas; Moses, Kanté, Hazard, Willian; Costa
Subs: Beeney, Aina, Zouma, Aké, Chalobah, Alonso, Batshuayi

Prediction: Chelsea 3-1 Swansea City (Costa, Moses, Fábregas)

I'll keep this one short by saying...yep, I'd take that. Costa, Moses and Fábregas (his first in crystal ball land) are on target in a convincing home performance. Wins are what we need and I think we'll get one this week. KTBFFH!

The score was right! Very nearly scorers too. Everything else not even close...but this is the first time the crystal ball has predicted the right score!

Great win, lads! We deserved the three points.

Thought Kanté and Fab was excellent today and really showed they should be starting againdt these types of teams with Matic coning in towards the end to seal the win.

Yep. Matic starts against the big boys and cesc comes on late on and vice versa.

Great effort from everyone, with bags of confidence. Fantastic to see Kurt again. Cesc is an outstanding conductor and Kante is our precious. Others did top job as well, and should be proud of themselves. Very, very pleased.

It was vital today we got the three points. Overall we were in complete control. But it was getting to a point after Swansea equalized that it could have been one of those days. Especially when fabregas hit the bar I was fearing the worst.

now let's pick up 3 points at west ham!

great result, lets not forget that they came to the bridge a form side that is hard to break down but chelsea outplayed them all over the pitch and other than conceding a route 1 goal, how they struggled to get any where near chelsea. This would of knocked the stuffing right out of the chasers as well !!

Anyway to put the best passer in the prem down.

Some people can't work out with Fab in the team you lose the ball less which puts less pressure on the defence. Plus at home do Chelsea really need two DMs? You just need one sitting.  What Fab gives you going forward is quality and would be too hard to replace.
