They'll probably play a weakened squad with their youth mugs like Rashford and Lingard rather than a full strength team, with Poorinho starting untested youth players and focusing on the Europa League we'll knock 3 or 4 past them again as long as we play a full strength team Mourinho can't afford to play a weakened team against us after the tonking we gave them earlier this season.
February 20, 20179 yr They are unlikely to beat us with such a static striker. Even Wolves figured that one out. Edit: trying not to tempt fate Edited February 20, 20179 yr by PloKoon13
February 20, 20179 yr Also, I hope that Millwall (a club whom my previous posts have repeatedly shown that I definitely respect) do a number on Tottenham.
February 20, 20179 yr Mourinho is the most motivated manager to play against us, I still remember when we scored the 4th goal and Conte celebrated and after the game, Jose told him " No problem to celebrate 1-0, but celebrating the 4th was disrespecting". He will play for revenge because this cup is a possible way for them to win a trophy. Going to be an interesting game, let's see how Conte will prepare our boys! COME ON CHELS!!!!
February 20, 20179 yr Would it be out of the question for a football fan to win the opportunity to draw each round? Therefor quashing any of this BS and also getting unliked personalities off the box? Edited February 20, 20179 yr by Van Butsen

It wasn't so much for celebrating. My interpretation was that Antonio was getting the crowd to start singing as we were up 4-0 and all he could hear were United songs. Mourinho has done the exact same thing in the past.

Pulling out two balls from a pot which leads to Shrewsbury vs Rotherham is a far cry from pulling a sword from a stone which leads to becoming King of England.
February 20, 20179 yr Happy with this draw. Of all the big teams left I feel most confident when we play Utd or Arsenal. We surely won't win 4-0, it'll be close but I think we will just have too much class for them in the end.
February 20, 20179 yr Assuming they go through against St Ettiene barring a miracle, at least we will have a good week to prepare for them. They will have the Europa League three days before the FA Cup game as you assume the FA Cup game will be on Sunday. The last time we played them and they had a Europa League game three days before, what was the score? 4-0 So advantage us and more prep time. Another 4-0 repeat would be good.
February 20, 20179 yr Milwall would have been iconic, Billy Bright will be disappointed, buys his Charlie off a Turk and he is supposed to be right wing. Man U a much better footballing challenge and a chance for conte to send a little message to Jose, move on. Edited February 20, 20179 yr by DonAntonio
February 20, 20179 yr Won't be as "easy" as last time, they basically rely on Ibrahimovi? way too much. We on the other hand can score from almost every position and every players contributes. The semi could potentially involve us, Spurs, City and Arsenal, gonna be a tough Fa Cup road. Jose will probably rather go out of the Europa League then to lose to Chelsea again, we will have time to recover and hopefully keep injury free.

Highly doubt that, Europe league is his best bet to quality for the CL next year, Jose is a father of pragmatism, plus he will have another chance to play us at old Trafford in the league.

Europa League is probably their best chance of securing Champions League football for next season, so would they really sacrifice that for a chance of getting revenge? They could still lose to us even if they sacrifice Europa League.

Depends on how they end up mate, they are not far from 2nd as it is. However i agree he will rather win the Europa league

However i agree he will rather win the Europa league Put it this way, you have the tightest top 6 I can remember, There is a real risk they won't make it, if they do it will have to be at the expense of Arsenal or Liverpool, he has a chance to win a tournament in Europe and get the CL in one move it would be seen as a very successful first season and it probably the easier route, to risk that to beat us in an FA cup that will probably be as hard to win this year as the Europa league...unlikely.

February 20, 20179 yr Hope it's not a long night. No replays this year in the quarterfinals, extra time and penalties if needed.
