Is it just me or is every thread just a massive bitch fest now days, literally, no one is able to post an opinion without either insulting the person they are replying to or fear of being insulted. 

The occasional squabble fine, but every thread now just descends to a mess with very little quality posting or analysis these days. deary me...

Hopefully sky sports will be reporting he's to have a medical at Chelsea today.

Surprised we haven't tried to upgrade on Moses. Compare the 2 wing backs, Alonso has done more than Moses in terms of goals/assists.

I think it's more to do with a player like Sandro being potentially available rather than the club being happy with Moses but not Alonso.

I wouldn't be comfortable with either of those two at wing back.

Nothing of note yet but apparently an agent of a Juve's loanee is asking for the sale of A. Sandro so that his client can stake a claim at Juve

I was hugely against Azpi shifting to wing back last season for two major reason's. Firstly it meant Zouma was in at RCB, and given Conte has put a lot of emphasis in us playing from the back it would have totally screwed us, as aptly demonstrated at Old Trafford and the first half vs City. Secondly Alonso while good didn't offer enough to make up for what Azpi lacks in general in the attack. If we hypothetically made Azpi a wing back next season then we will hopefully have those 2 problem's covered. In Rudiger and Christensen we have player's capable of being part of the build up construction and in Sandro on the other side (touch wood) he would more than make up for Cesar not being an elite attacker, although as the Watford game shown he's not nearly as bad in that aspect as made out.

i guess because azpi can do a job for moses. We have no one to replace alonso and baba is certified trash

its a beatiful day when you hear that spurs have joined us and signed with nike but will only get 30M a year while we get 60...

I agree, but i think its possible that if Dave plays that position regularly as opposed to occasionally he can do more than just a job in that position, he is a quality player, and last season excelled in a position that a lot of us would have had doubts about, this was because he played that position week in week out, was well trained and practiced in that position, if Conte thinks that he can move to wing back permanently it would not surprise me if he excelled there too. 

I feel that this is a reasonable explanation to why we are linked to right sided centre backs and left wing backs, but not right wing backs. 

Cold be but I think it's still a question of a square peg in a round hole...let's have a look a the Ox in that role...

Dave was originally a full back, this is probably closer to wing back than what he played last season, i think he has the capabilities to play wing back. I guess we will see in a couple of months. 

As for Ox, why would we upgrade Moses with a vey similar player that isn't quite as good, would be a pointless transfer.

He is more a wing back than a CB and look how well he did, he is very versatile if he is given the role at wing back he will do a good job, next season he will be rwb or RB in a 4 that's why we are going Sandro when alonso if better than Moses and not looking at rb's

Looks like Juventus are pulling out all the stops to keep him...he's been offered £85k a week and they are looking to buy Danilo his best mate from Brazil...they've also said that if he stays this year they'll let him go next year...looks like it's make your mind up time Alex...Chelsea has matched Juve's asking price, offering a lot more money in wages and are looking to bring in Danilo themselves....decisions, decisions...
