It's even bigger joke to think Willian is more creative and will guarantee more goals than Mahrez. If I wasn't even sure about who is better among the two, I will go for Mahrez just for the age! But am well convince Mahrez is the better player.

Wallosh deserve pig testacle for great wisdom.

Willian will give us better balance IF cesc needs to start for creativity.

We already have Hazard who gives us the spark and individual brilliance. Pedro can give us goals and assists even though his all round game is not that much. Willian IS a big game player for providing balance to the side as well as has a good all round game.

Mahrez is more of the Hazard mould and a couple of levels below.

There is a 2 and a half year difference between willian and mahrez. Hardly the reason to Panic or to buy a player we CLEARLY dont need at the moment, specially when we are not even buying the players we DO need (LWB, RWB, CM)

Personally don't think either Mahrez or Draxler a close to being an improvement on what we already have, and neither seem to me like they are going to improve enough to reach that level. If we are looking for an attacking player I think we should look elsewhere.
Back I don't even think Draxler will reach the same level as Oscar.

Oscar? Lol, he is one of the most overrated player ever

Belotti would be perfect if Conte wants to have several good attacking options aveiable to him: 3-4-1-2, 3-5-2, 3-4-3, 4-2-4. We would have a superb attacking trio in Hazard, Morata and Belotti. We wouldn't be so dependant on Hazard and Morata as we are now either.

Yeah, it's surprising how he hasn't gone anywhere yet. I'm hoping we get him because I've already lost my confidence in Michy.

I know it's really fickle and premature but he really isn't good enough.

I really think that we dont need to sell Michy in order to get Belotti?

you cannot get through a season playing 2 strikers in a starting XI when you only have 2 strikers in the squad. need a min of 3!

Hazard could play as a second striker in a 3-5-2 formation, or we switch to 3-4-3 and play with one striker and two midfielders when needed.

People seem to rate Michy for some reason, maybe because he's a nice guy? Fact is, he isn't good enough and this is an important upgrade, especially with Costa out of the door.

I agree. Which is what makes the situation even worse. It also a complete joke that spurs have just agreed a deal for Aurier

Hmm some people love making extremely bold OTT claims don't they.

Michy has 84 career goals with 25 assists in 180 Apps , including 9 for Chelsea in 772 mins, 26 in Ligue 1 and 4 for Belgium. Yet apparently there is no substance behind having anything other than a negative opinion of the man.

In contrast Belotti has managed 76 goals and 24 assists in 150 apps, 44 in Serie A, 4 internationally. So its obvious that even though they are similar ages and still developing that Belotti is far the superior footballer. Personally I think Belotti is a slight upgrade for us over Michy as he looks more suited to our style of play but to write of Michy over 2 bad games and limited opportunities last season is as silly as assuming that one good season makes you an instantly superior player.

So after watching us against Everton today who would bring more to the table: Vardy or Belotti?

I still think Belotti's profile is the one we should be going for to be a force to be feared. Vardy seems a square peg in a round hole unless we intend to play on the break with sub 40% possession.

Dunno, just a thought since this lad looks special.
