Can't help but suspect he's mentally halfway to China now. Even if he doesn't leave, we need a viable second choice striking option.

We need to make changes at halftime. I'd take Costa off and Bring Willian or Pedro on.

As good as Moses has been at RWB for us this season, he still does not know how to take a throw-in. Every game he probably takes at least 1 foul throw. He needs practising on this on the training ground because it concedes needless possession.

Whatever happens at the end of the season, Conte has a lot of work to do on that defence of ours. It's looking as unreliable as last season of late. The one thing every title winning team has had is a strong defence, if we don't sort it out then we will drop more points which will cost us the title. We can't be like City and just expect to out score the opponents. In this league, that always ends up backfiring. You can tell things are wrong when the players are running around like headless chickens, and that is what our defenders are like of late. They are all over the place.

Think we're playing quite well but can't help feeling we wouldn't be a far better side if we had a destroyer beside Kante who could pass the ball, Matic has been okay but it's hard to retain possession with him in midfield

Costa and Hazard's link up play has been sublime, just lacking the final finish.

Kante's little jinx into the box was brilliant.

Entertaining game so far. Still got to score another to put it to bed.

Just needs to move the ball on more quick. Okay he is not scoring currently but it is not that bad.

That's his 9th. One more for a 2 game ban i believe. 

That was a momentum grabbing goal. Would take any goal but this kind would gives us confidence come second half.

When is it ever? Bar the one or two token penalties a year its never called. Cahill did the exact same thing, just mauled a guy over never even looking at the ball

Quite. In fact his foul throw against Man Utd led us to concede possession in our own half. From that passage of play United scored their 2nd. Needless.

Mason in the pocket of Spurs. It woudn't surprise me.

Hazard been star man again but once again he is too nice sometimes. He is so despo for Costa to score that he is trying too much to assist him when the easier option is to take a shot. Come on Hazard man!

Chelsea needs to be simple with passing, not so many long range passes, Hampton controlled first half.

 

rather see 200 passes than 10 passes and long pass. keep it simple

I agree. 3 times it has broken down with him on the ball when we are going forward. Put someone with better awareness and touch in there and they play a simple through ball to Hazard or lay it off for Fabregas who can then play someone in on the wing, or thread one of his trademark through balls into the area. It's these simple details that is stopping our attack going from being good to being world class.
